Hi all!! Looking for some advice / help

I’m 18, recently started having sex. The past few months I’ve had quite an unpleasant smell and itching. I switched birth control to “millinette” and since having sex recently, I’ve been bleeding! It’s mostly afterwards, even up to a whole day after having sex, this then makes me super anxious about bleeding when I do have sex!!!

This may not be related, but I’ve had a pain under my left boob, which has now gone to the centre of my tummy, I have continuous period like cramps also. I feel super super dry down there, but somehow not at the same time?! It’s extremly confusing and it’s all very uncomfortable, wondering if anyone has any advice or anything for me before going to the doctors! Suffer with anxiety also so you can imagine the trauma of going to the docs about this stuff!!

I don't really have any advice other than to see a gp. They will be able to point you in the right direction.

Just an example... I was having bleeding for days after sex but it was due to some polyps I had them removed and that was the end of that.

Book an appointment with a female doctor if you think that will help you feel a bit more relaxed. Or when you phone the drs and speak to a receptionist ask them if they have a doctor that specialises in female health.

Just remember that they have seen it all before and there's nothing to feel embarrassed about..

They may want to take some swabs if it has been smelly or had any discharge.
