Immunocompromised behavior
i am 82 and heading in May into my last infusion for
microscopic
polyangiitis
. I am fully vaccinated for flu, covid, and RSV. I am reluctant to let people into the house for any extended time if I don’t know their vaccine status, as I am immunocompromised. Am I being paranoid about this…??

What are the chances that the transplanted kidney will fail?
My kidneys failed because of
microscopic
polyangiitis
and C3GN. The C3GN destroyed my kidneys in about 48 hours. I’m so worried the same will happen to my new kidney. Some of the anti rejection drugs are the same drugs used to control the
microscopic
polyangiitis
so that should be helpful.

Recently diagnosed with ANCA Associated Vascultis called Microscopic Polyangiitis, and seeking understanding
Lots of tests showed big time inflammation, and finally the P-ANCA with MPO that identifies
Microscopic
Polyangiitis
quite specifically. However, a cancer protein showed up that is linked to Multiple Myeloma so more tests and the M Spike was there, uh oh.

Flying with Mycophenolate and MPA
Hi, I have
microscopic

along with bronchiectasis. I am on the BLF forum but thought I would ask here. I need to travel for work abroad but was unsure if it was safe to do so with my illnesses and medication?

RIP Dad
Dad was diagnosed with
Microscopic
Polyangiitis
just over a year ago. He was continuously getting chest infections which I don't think the doctors really got on top of during that time. Dad collapsed nearly 3 months ago with septic shock.

Microscopic polyangiitis.
I was diagnosed 4 years ago. The main attack was in my lungs, leaving me with 'leaky lungs'. I am doing really well I have stopped azathioprine, anti biotic, and just recently reduced my steroids to 5mg. I have had a slight cold the past couple of weeks and it has knocked me off my feet. My question
