Well, Carboplatin was a disaster - it did nothing at all so I have effectively had 8 weeks of no treatment and my cancer went crazy. Anniversary
Yesterday was the third anniversary of starting letrozole and ibrance. On Friday the Macmillan nurse delivered results of my scan, stable , no change. So I enjoyed my birthday and am continuing to embrace life. We're busy lambing, due to move to mainland Scotland in about a month, then holidays planned

Burning pain to side of scapular post several breast ops - anyone have this too?
Dear all Hope you are doing as well as can be. I am really struggling with very bad, deep burning in the area of my upper left back, in-between the shoulder blade and my spine and wondered if anyone else has had this issue post surgery/ies? I have a lot of lumps and spasmed areas anyway, all over

Ibrance and Letrozole -= hair change/loss
I have been on the above for nearly 24 months and they appear to be doing what they' re meant to do - thank goodness. After being on them for 14 months I started to loose a lot of my hair, mainly from the front. I could feel my hair follicles being very tender to touch. My hair has now started to

Wondering about meds for high cholesterol
Hi fellow warriors, I have been on Letrozole and Ibrance for the last 2 years. I was diagnosed stage 4 de novo in late 2014. Mets were in liver only. I did Taxol, Herceptin and Perjeta for about 4 months, then Herceptin , Perjeta and Faslodex until 2019. I then was able to do just the Faslodex until

Hair thinning
Hi there, Does anyone who is on Letrozole, know of a brand that does not thin hair? I’ve tried various brands, but they all seem to have this side effect. I would love to hear from anyone who has found one! Many thanks x

letrozole & Ibrance weight gain
Hi everyone, hope everyone is having a beautiful day. I have been on letrozole and Ibrance for the past year, and they have done wonders for my condition, as far as being able to walk again and not be in pain. The side effects were minimal for me, all but the weight gain. Has anyone else experienced

Adding Ibrance to Letrozol after it stops working on its own..
Hi! I have been on Letrozole only for 6 years and was NED for past 5 years. I’m getting a scan soon and was told that if there is progression one option is to add Ibrance — has anyone out here experienced this situation— that is, adding Ibrance to Letrozole after a long time on it alone…after progression

Strange Symptoms
I am on Letrozole 25 mg and Ibrance 75 mg. Last summer I developed a feeling of pins and needles all over my body when I went outside in the heat. As a result, I am petrified of the summer in Texas. Has anyone experienced this? I don"t know if it is related to these drugs or if I have a vitamin deficiency

Hi, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2020, had surgery, told my cancer was stage 2 by the surgeon, based on lymph nodes and tumor size. My first set of scans revealed a tumor on my spine, this changed everything. I have been on Ibrance and letrozole for 3 years, doing well, but starting to
