No period after norethisterone

Hi I'm new here. Just wondering what everyone experience is after taking norethisterone. I was advised by my doctor to take 1 pill 3 x a day for 5 days to induce my period so i could startt letrozole as i am trying to conceive and I don't have them for 80 days sometimes. I stopped taking norethisterone 4 days ago but still no sign of AF. I was told it should start within 2-3 days. What is everyone else's experience with it? Should I take it again maybe for a longer time maybe that will induce my labour? Or should I wait longer? Thankyou in advance

It can be anywhere from 2-3 days up until 5-10 days. I’ve started my withdrawal bleed anywhere from 2 days to 7-8 days after stopping Norethisterone. Give it time, hopefully it’ll be here in the next day or so!

Hi Nuz1 every time I have taken norethisterone it has taken around a week for my withdrawal bleed my clinic always says everyone reacts differently so I won't worry about it. Just keep your clinic updated. Good luck x

I’ve often been in this situation….anytime I’ve asked my clinic they said, do not worry, it will arrive and keep active, walking. Try not to worry and keep your clinic updated 😀
