I have been on Ibrance and Letrozole since August 2018, 75mg 3 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
All CT scans are stable (last one in September 2022). I had my Pnuemonia jab and it seems I am having a slight delayed reaction of breathlessness. I have lung mets, so worried its that. I have not had any of these symptoms before.
I am on my exercise bike and general walking at a pace and other exercise daily, where I am fine, however so worried. I am unsure if this is anxiety or something more sinister. Has anyone had similar symptoms after a Pneumonia vaccine.?
Thanks and love to all

You may want to call your onc. It could be the vaccine. She or your primary care doc would know if that's a side effect of the vaccine. Did your onc know you got the vaccine?
I would call your oncologist . Pneumonitis is a serious side effect of Ibrance. You've been on Ibrance for a long time without any issues, so it sure seems coincidental or interesting that is started right after you got the pneumonia vaccine. Best to call the oncologist and let them know. Hopefully it clears up asap !
Ibrance can cause lung damage! I was on it for just a few cycles in 2016 and developed interstitial lung disease. It has not gotten any better since going off Ibrance but not gotten worse either. My pulmonologist described ILD as being like gunk between the air sacs. I now have two inhalers, albuterol and Trilegy. I get out of breath if I walk fast and in humid weather. Call your onc today and asl for a referral to a pulmonologist, if you aren't already seeing one. Going off Ibrance did not cause problems with the stability I had with cancer.
I I had a pneu vaccine with no problems. Ibrance can cause respiratory issues and I did have a bronchitis develop after I started the ibrance. It’s hard to say if you will have a reaction but hopefully not.🙏✝️
