I’ve been taking Ibrance 75 mg two weeks on two weeks off for 3 1/2 years Took a while to get the Ibrance balance. I take letrozole daily. Scans taken every 4 months have shown no progression. I had a double mastectomy and bone lesions on my spine. I followed Joe Tippens protocol for 2 years. I did not tell my onc as I didn’t think he would approve. 🥹I eat balanced meals consisting of lots of fruits and vegetables. with very little sugar consumption.
I’m 76 and blessed with energy to travel and keep 4 year old great grands. I enjoy reading and working in my yard. Involved in church, book club and canaster games.
We are all unique and finding the right balance can be exhausting. Keep trying to be positive and seeking the good in all things. Much love to us all in this journey. My prayer is for a cure soon. ❤️

Good morning! That is so encouraging to read! I completed one month of Ibrance and letrozole and I struggled with nausea, infections and eye trouble. They reduced the dose to 100mg and I feel better at the moment - I will start week 2 of the cycle this evening. I have mets to many bones, liver and bladder neck. I hope my outcome will be as good as yours.
Hello! your post must bring hope and peace to many who are on this journey. Yes, once you find that sweet spot, the balance is indeed precious. IBrance does work but too often it takes a while to get to the dosage that works but doesn’t hurt you…glad the two weeks on/two weeks off is working. I had to find a sweet spot that came to be 5 days on/ 2 days off. 🙏😘 best of luck!
Thank you for sharing. I was so fatigue with Ibrance in 2020 that my onc took me off. Here at the end of 2022 I have started Kisqali for cancer of femar, sacrum, and spine. I wished my onc had been creative (or me) before taking me off Ibrance. I would have rather stayed on Ibrance longer. It's good to hear your experience and appreciate you posting.
So glad to see your post! Love your attitude and reading how well you're doing. I've been on Ibrance 100mg/letrozole for almost six years, but haven't been able to get my neutrophils over .8 the last two months. Apparently, my body has now decided the higher dose is too much. My onco decided I'll start 75mg after my current box of 100 mg are gone (he didn't want to waste them!). He modified my schedule using the 100mg to simulate a dosage reduction to 75mg and on Jan 3 I'll see if that helped. I'll admit I've been a little nervous about the switch, but now I'm thinking if it works, it works - the 25mg won't change that - and maybe my numbers will improve and I can stay on Ibrance for a long time to come.
good to hear! Been on Ribocyclib & Lesterozole for several yrs & had double mastectomy yrs ago now bone cancer last 4yrs. & using narcotics for pain control but very hard to manage & now loosing hair & have asked oncologist if can change.
