Failed ablation now weird sensation and pain on inner right thigh 11days post.
Hi, I am new here joined after my first ablation on 7/10. After spending longer then usually on the table the EP finally gave up and ended the ablation. Even though he burned a few nodes on the right, it was unsuccessful. He believes the nod in question is on the left. I was having a lot of high heart

Question about skipped beats
2 years ago I had a cyroablation for Arrythmia all went well and I was told to stop my metoprolol as well as my blood pressure mess. Currently I am still on blood thinners as a precaution but I will probably be told to stop that soon as well. Recently about two weeks ago I began having some skipped

Shortness of breath - tired.
My pacemaker monitor has picked up only a few episodes of Afb, but I have frequent bouts of palpitations which I feel in my throat, my chest and my stomach. NO ONE HAS ANY ANSWERS! Plus, I am always tired. I am on Eliquis, Diovan, Amlodipine, Metoprolol and Norvasc - yes, Big Pharma loves me. Any

Post ablation-1year. Having irregular heartbeats lately but rate stays around 70. Feel quivers at night lasting only a few seconds.
It has been a while since I have been on here. Had an ablation after being diagnosed with afib last July. Have had minimal episodes during first 3 months and only episodes of "skipped of beats" lately. However I have noticed quivers at night or at rest. They go away when I take a deep breath. It feels

I'm confused!
I supposedly have Paroxysmal AF, and take Flecainide morning and night, and Metoprolol and Xarelto at night. My cardiologist is not good at explaining and seems impatient when I ask. Perhaps someone here can help? When I try to go the PIP route with Flecainide, I find that by late afternoon I am

From Metoprolol to Multaq...
I am healthy 68 year old who was diagnosed with afib 4 years ago. I have had 3 cardioversions and have been taking metoprolol 50mg. The last cardioversion was done one month ago and I am back in afib. The cardiologist took me off Metoprolol and put me on Multaq 400mg twice a day. I have been taking Multaq

Phrenic nerve damage
I had my first ablation April 26th and it was an extensive ablation also. My shortness of breath and dry cough were my major complaint after the procedure. Could not get a definitive answer as to why I was so short of breath. My EP came to town and I was able to see him and found I was out of rhythm

3 months post ablation follow up and stopping Eliquis in 3 months?!
My EP was happy to inform me that 2 weeks of wearing monitor did not record anything bad. My recovery was tough for the first 2 months - shortness of breath and fatigue. Then one day everything changed as if I never had Afib nor ablation. I was off Metoprolol and Flecainidine after 1 months and he

Diuretic effect on amantadine levels, hallucinations, falls

Your thoughts please
Hi - I have had a diagnosis for AF about two years ago and put on a variety of medications, Diltiazem Apixaban, Hydrochlorothiazide and rosuvastatian. I still experience AF most of the time but not enough to affect my life style. I am however having trouble with swelling ankles & feet - that are constantly

Off of Flecainide and Metoprolol just 1 month after ablation
Just to share my experience post ablation because I see I am not the only one worrying. I was kind of surprised to hear from my EP to stop both medications just one month after the ablation - cold turkey. The explanation was that I was on Fleca "only" 9 months and just a small dose of Metopropolol

Metoprolol action
When I was diagnosed with atrial flutter in February of 2016, my GP prescribed Metoprolol 25 mg with the words that it did three things: address the heart rate, the heart rhythm, and the blood pressure. At the time, I was also taking for blood pressure 25 mg Hydrochlorothiazide and Ramipril 5 mg, but

New to this forum - so glad to read the experiences of others and to see they are much similar to mine. Gives a sense of comfort to hear how others are dealing with AF. Seven years ago while playing hockey, I had my first real experience with AF. Frightening, to say the least. Since then, I have

Hi :) New person here. Atrial Flutter after routine surgery.
Hello, I have been lurking this community for the last hour or so and I am very happy to have found it. I am a 26 year old woman who has always been very healthy. I went into hospital last week for a laparoscopy to remove an ovarian cyst. When I came out of surgery, my heart rate was 160 BPM for about

On Warfarin and had wisdom tooth removed!
Had a top wisdom tooth removed today, without prior notice! Dentist did not seem unduly worried about Warfarin and it bled very little on removal. However, had a problem with bleeding this pm and had to go back. He has stitched it, and said don't take Warfarin tonight. I usually take 5mg a day, and am

Night Time
So for the last 3 nights in a row I have had palpitations before bed. Have waken up to use the bathroom and had afib for an average of 30 min. I am taking metoprolol, losartan, apixaban, metformin, and sertraline. These occurrences happen exclusively at night and always after eating. No matter what I
