Latest 14 day trial.
I had just finished a 14 day trial of 1 mg of
methylcobalamin
and 1 mg of adenosylcobalamin every 4 hours and am guessing the results were positive. The results were not definitive. I 4 months ago started injecting every 4 hours which was definitely more effective and therefore effective.

Evaluating
This is written from the perspective of having experienced life long B12 deficiency and injecting 5+- times a day consistently for the last 5 weeks. 1 mg
methylcobalamin
and .25 mg hydroxocobalamin with 6 mg adenosylcobalamin SL. Which led to consistent improvement weekly.

If I inject 1 mg of
methylcobalamin
and either 1 mg of cyanocobalamin or hydroxocobalamin 4 times a day and take 50 mg of PSP twice a day along with other supplements and improve weekly. This I have been only doing consistently due to sourcing issues for two months.

Excellent explanation about B12 and malabsorption: may be due to other things besides pernicious anaemia
How
methylcobalamin
is one of the better forms (but not cyanocobalamin). I still have a concern that this article and 'Could it be B12?': both state that there are no side effects to high doses. I am not medically qualified but I took a high dose once and instantly felt as if my BP had risen.

Oral B12
I know that oral supplements aren’t always the answer but does anyone have any views on
Methylcobalamin
vs. Cynocobalamin tablets please? They both appear to have pros and cons from the reading I’ve done so far. Thanks.

Weekly shots forever?
I have been self administering hydrocobalamin and
methylcobalamin
shots for over a year now. I also went from a plant based to a carnivore diet (mostly lamb and eggs, frequent herring) If I wait longer than a week to take a shot, I start getting symptoms again.

Drip Drip Drip
.🙂 I changed my injections to include
methylcobalamin
with adenosylcobalamin and changed my frequency of injections 17 days ago. I see self treatment as treating my neurological system and evaluate my supplementation as a system.

Macrocytic anemia returned
The only thing different is that I switched from hydroxycobalamin to
methylcobalamin
maybe 6-9 months ago. Could it be that I’m unresponsive to methyl, or could my physiology have changed such that I just need more frequent injections for some reason? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Weight gain with SI B12
Since I started SI
methylcobalamin
6+ months ago I've put on weight, almost a stone. This is very unusual for me as my weight is normally very stable. Does anyone know if there's a mechanism by which this happens, or has anyone else experienced the same?

Success!!!
I did not feel well with the initial (and small) injections I got from
methylcobalamin
. So I dragged my feet on treatment. My MMA was 1.04.
