MTHFR - high homocysteine and b12 in blood
My nutritionist gave me methyl folate and brought the homocysteine down thankfully. I wonder if anyone is in the same boat and taking methyl b12. My symptom is itchy skin. I think the body builds up histamine without working b12, is that right?

B12 deficiency and rapid shallow breathing?
If I pump myself full of
methylcobalamin
using sub-lingual tablets and a spray, this all but disappears! Just recently I've noticed when relaxing quietly, such as lying in bed before I go to sleep my breathing is somewhat shallow and rapid.

New diagnosis of PA
Hi there. I'm so glad I found this site. I need some understanding of this disease and I need to know if there is anyone out there living a normal life after treatment. I'm also trying to figure out what symptoms are coming from PA and what is coming from thyroid as it seems that they seem to cross

Addisons emergency injection from gp or other sources
I'm fully diagnosed with the disease and supply my own b12
Methylcobalamin
injections, cortef h.c and foricot. I'm going to see a new gp next week to register my private test results and Addisons so they have that info for an emergency.

Solgar B12
A couple of days ago I opened a new bottle of Solgar
Methylcobalamin
and thought they looked different. They are the same size round, but the depth is about twice what they are normally.

Does it matter if you don't alternate sites.
Will this matter, he's only having
Methylcobalamin
twice a week at the moment and sadly so far no improvement...except appetite . We started in October last year. I have watched films about getting it in the right spot and mostly the injections are very rarely causing actual pain going in.

Methylcobalamin and folate
If you're taking
methylcobalamin
does the need to take folic acid or methyfolate still exist if you have decent folate levels?

Crashing?
I know it's odd, but I actually think that
methylcobalamin
doesn't work very well for me. I want to switch back to cyanocobalamin because I know it does work for me, but my naturopath favors methyl and I don't know how I'm going to convince her to let me switch back.

How to get help for hypothyroid B12 deficiency?
How much
methylcobalamin
is too much? Is it the right form of vitamin B12 to be taking? What should I ask my GP? Do I need to keep buying pills and what if I run out? Is this a temporary problem and why didn't my blood test show any problem?

As I only get 6 good wks after my 12 weekly B12 injection, I've just found in Holland and Barrett 1000 /ug
Methylcobalamin
which you dissolve in under your tongue.
