Anyone have this side effect? I'm on Letrozole and Ibrance and a few times now I've had vision that seems to be a bit blurry or shaky is the best way I can describe it, with little squiggly lines in my peripheral vision? Meds? or Brain metastasis? of course that's where I go first but looking for others that might have this.

Blurry Vision
I had severe blurry eyes from Lynparza and even when I went off of it and went to the eye doctors, my vision had gotten so much worse than before I took it. I’m glad I didn’t stay on it because he told me it also could cause cataracts.
Are you on steroids at all? My mum has blurred vision & we were told it cld be a side affect from the steroids she’s on x
No steroids, I think it might just be my eyes. Thanks for your reply.
I was diagnosed with intermittent exotropia almost a year and a half ago. It is the opposite of lazy eye as the eye muscle is weak (due to aging and the extreme nearsightedness that I had experienced before cataract surgery) The eye muscles jumps horizontally and vertically. I also have a cornea problem that is not related to the cancer, that is part of my DNA. This sometimes causes blurry vision. It doesn't happen often though, usually when I am tired. The biggest problem I have is dizziness when I stand. I have also had radiation to my spine for a thoracic tumor and I read that radiation can also cause dizziness along with the Exemestane I am on, which can also cause dizziness.
Thanks Sandra, I don't even want to say how long it's been since I've seen an eye Dr. Can't remember so might start there
Since you are 62 you definitely should have an eye exam. Cataracts are a real possibility just because of the age you are. I’m 71 and my vision is just starting to blur slightly. I’m very near sighted so I get vision tests yearly. My doc used to say that I had very healthy eyes except for my near sightedness. On my last visit she told me I was just starting to develop cataracts and it was about time I caught up with my peers since they had already had their cataracts done. We all tend to go the cancer route but sometimes it’s just something normal that is caused by aging.
The squiggly lines are what I get with migraines. I had a head ct due to my eyes being blurry and vision changes but everything was fine so they blamed it on my meds
Have you seen your optician and had the pressure in your eyes and your field of view checked?
I have had that!! I am on ibrance and letrozole, I thought i was having a brain aneurysm or a stroke because it kept doing while i was driving on the freeway.
It’s good to remember that some symptoms are age related or just normal abnormalities. I have dry eyes and my eyes cause me more discomfort than most side effects. Definitely see an eye doctor.
extreme blurry vision with ibrance for me. xo
Yes, since I've started on Ibrance I've had blurriness and difficulty with focus. I definitely did not have this problem before Ibrance. Plan to consult with my doctor next week.
