Study on bone ALP as a marker for bone metastasis in PC?
Can anybody point to a study showing Bone alakaline phosphatase to be a marker of bone
metastasis
in prostate cancer? It would be helpful to have it to get my primary care doc to write me a prescription for such a test since that is needed here.

Update, MRI Brain
Hi everyone, Last Wednesday I had the MRI of my brain after a head CT had shown some enhancements. Well today I had a call and it has confirmed these enhancements are brain metastases, some are calcified with scar tissue so they must have been there for some time and responded to treatments I've had

To start ibrance or not?
Hi everyone. My mom recently had SBRT radiation to two bone metastases. Her CA 27.29 markers have dropped from 55 to 34, however her oncologist still wants her to start Ibrance in addition to the fulvestrant she is on. We are on the conservative side and would like to just stick with fulvestrant if we

Metastasis with undetectable PSA
Thankfully my last PSA In late November was a perfect 0.00, but my high risk DECIPHER spooks me when it comes to
metastasis
. So, thought I’d ask this group even though I think it’s unlikely that my PC is the culprit. Thanks in advance.

Introduction and Blog Post
A second tumor was also removed from my bladder and turned out to be a prostate cancer
metastasis
. Happily, the bladder cancer was non-invasive and has not recurred since, and hopefully will stay that way.

Platelets and raised markers
Hi Ladies I’m upset after my good scan a few weeks ago My platelets have dropped and I can’t take Xeloda On top of that my markers have suddenly risen so my oncologist suspects there’s progression in the bone marrow and wants to start me on Taxol once a week for three weeks and a week off till it fails

Casodex/Bicalutamide or MDV3100/Enzalutamide can lead to promotion rather than suppression of Prostate Cancer Metastasis
Since a tumor to the prostate is unlikely to kills us by itself and neither does PSA, and because
metastasis
can hurt and kill you eventually, I figured that this article from November 2020 is good knowledge to have.

Leg Pain
There was Pulmonary
metastasis
visible on original scan, that has since subsided as a result of the hormone therapy, but apparently, though the masses have subsided, the effects of Pulmonary mets hasn't. I'd appreciate any comments or similar experiences.

DEALING WITH FATIGUE
How do you deal with the fatigue from treatment? You know the kind when no matter how much sleep you have, you still feel tired, but not tired in a way more sleep would help. I'm sure this question's come up multiple times but I could use some help. I'm currently on Xeloda and doing well, except
