Amar Kishan, MD, on Optimal Sequencing of ADT With RT in Nonmetastatic Prostate Cancer
In men who received prostate-only radiotherapy (PORT), concurrent/adjuvant ADT was associated with improved
metastasis
-free survival (10-year benefit 8.0%, HR 0.65, P<0.0001) and overall survival (HR 0.69, P<0.0001).

Lumps from fulvestrant shots
I still have lumps from the past 4 months. How do I get them to go away? It is getting harder for the nurse to find a spot to inject and it is painful when she does. Thank you.

What type of Breast Cancer do you have?
Hello everyone, I am a Breast Cancer Patient Support Manager at SHARE, and a two time cancer survivor myself. I had breast and colon cancer. I am wondering, what type of breast cancer do you have? Is it TNBC, DCIS, ILC, IDC, Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Lobular or something else?

Coming off Ibrance and fulvestrant. Not feeling great.
Hello. So I am changing meds since I had a progression while on Ibrance and Fulvestrant. I am currently on a med break. I guess to get everything out of my system. It’s been a week since last dose of ibrance and a month since my last shot of Fulvestrant. I started off feeling like I had a cold

Vitamin D supplements and elevated blood work
here is my story and my question. Everything has been going well for me for about a year. Blood work stable, tumor marker test levels decreasing and stable scans. However, recently I was diagnosed with very low levels of vitamin D and began supplementation with 50,000 IU once a week. Since I misunderstood

Hey Y'all
Just stumbled across this site. I'm a MBC Thriver!! In July 2017 it was confirmed that I in fact had HR+ HER2- BC after years of mammograms and ultrasounds. PSMA results 6 weeks post RALP; one peri-anal lymph node
Today we got his PSMA results which I am hoping is optimistic since only one lymph node in the peri-rectal area lit up, no distant
metastasis
. Can you give me any ideas of what his next treatment might consist of. Is salvage radiation likely or can they just target the one lymph?

Breast cancer
Hi folks, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of this year. My first surgery removed a lump and 2 lymph nodes, the second was to take more shavings. As a result of that it found more cells which led to having a mastectomy . At my follow up appt yesterday they've decided to put me on Letrozole

PSA rising - When to get a PSMA PET scan?
I don't want to jump too late and find that the lesions are too many to be treated with
metastasis
-directed radiation therapy. Is there a sweet spot -- a PSA range where the PSMA PET scan is likely to do the most good?
