After many years on oral meds for bone mets, I recently have been diagnosis with breast cancer which has metastasized to my pancreas. I also have mutated rom ER+ HER low to triple negative. I completed 15 rounds of radiation along with simultaneous weekly infusions of Taxol. I have had stents put in my stomach, have difficulty eating and are in pain or discomfort daily. Is there anyone out there who has had a similar experience and can share options, suggestions on next steps. I would love to hear your story.

Metastasis to the Pancreas

I am also on chemo after mutating from ER+, HER low to triple negative. I can't offer any good suggestions but want to express connection with your situation and wishes for hope for both of us.
I was diagnosed with bone mets last November and have been in pain since, along with a pathological fracture of the humerus which isn't healing. I was wondering if you could share what oral medicine you were prescribed for the bone mets. The docs are still searching for the origin of my mets, they've ruled out Myeloma.I hope you can find relief for your pain and discomfort.
I don't think they will be able to treat you until they have figured out the source of your mets, unfortunately, unless perhaps they just give you a standard chemo that's kind of universal to a number of cancers. Do you have any other bone mets, like your pelvis, where they coud do a bone biopsy?
I've been on Ibrance, Picray, Capcitabine, Verzennio Osurdu, Trucap; all oral meds. Now on Taxol chemo infusions. Just had a port put in yesterday. So uncomfortable and painful. How long do these symptoms last? It's the pancreas that has me really bugged out; seems like a very rare metastasis. waiting on tumor marker results. fingers crossed.
