You have been amazing support this past week and now I am going to ask you to please share your experience again as I navigate these scary times.
I had a CT Chest, Abdo and Pelvis to stage before my surgery. My Abdo and Pelvis came back with no evidence of metastasis.
My Chest one came back finding two (2mm and 5mm) nodules in my lung as well as some opacities (which I had before). It says no specific evidence of metastasis and that these are commonly found but will need to be followed.
With all of this, what does it look like? Truly no metastasis? What was yours like before surgery? Anyone have these types of findings in their lungs and it was nothing?
Again, thank you all for being so open to sharing. It matters. A lot.

The lung nodules of that size appear frequently on CT scans of the chest for many people and are not an indication of something bad. If you ever had a serious cold, flu or Covid, nodules of this size would show so this factor by itself would not seem to say much, if anything at all, about the status of the cyst. Best of luck! But overall, the CT scan seems good!
Love this response. I had a horrible case of bronchitis a number of years ago and the cough never went away (family with asthma so very familiar with lung challenges). Would not be worried at all except for the OC!!!!
It sounds like good news though there could be microscopic cells . As Doggies says I wouldn’t worry about the lung nodules. I have a lot of them. They do watch to make sure they don’t grow. Best of luck with the surgery!
