At Last I have answers and know where I am.
I will make this post brief , as I have had more than my share. This was my last BCG - I will be seen in about 10 weeks to see it it is still working, if not I will be considered for BCG again probablt. The letter I got for a Thorax CT Scan - I have found out from who'm and why. I asked my BC nurse

My Bladder Cancer Update.
As I stand now I have my LAST BCG treatment this Thursday, that will be followed in six to eight weeks with a flexy cystoscopy. I am at moment Low Grade - If my cystoscopy shows a tumour, then I will have to go in overnight to have it removed, That would not mean back to High Grade necessarily .

And there’s the RSV vaccine! I’m wondering about my response to any vaccines at this point in my treatment. My onc says to

Covid and flu jab
What’s the experience of anyone who has taken covid vaccination and flu jab at the same time? I have heard(whether it be true or not), that having the jabs 2 or 3 weeks apart could mean feeling less poorly etc. What’s been the experience out there, especially for those who have had jabs(covid and flu

Flare after vaccine
Good morning dear people. Ten days ago I received the new RSV vaccine. My husband is undergoing treatment for stage three cancer so we were advised to get the RSV, Flu and new Covid booster when it comes out. We both had body aches, low grade fever and fatigue for two days after getting the RSV vaccine

Heart problems and the Covid autumn booster
Just had an interesting thought I'm below the 65 age limit for the covid autumn booster but I automatically get the flu jab each year as I have other problems. After having a heart attack last year would this qualify me for the autumn booster or not I had it last autumn but the goal post for age has

Lupron Injection Site Pain
Hi all - curious if any of you have had this weirdness. I got my first Lupron injection Aug 17th (3mth 22.5mg i believe) - had the initial soreness at injection site on shoulder that is typical of even say a flu shot. That pain did go away in couple days but came back on the 10th day and still is

mmr vaccine in grandson
evening everyone. just seeking some advice. My dad has cll, diagnosed in 2018 and still on watch and wait. My dad is my little boys best pal. My little boy has his one year vaccines this week, including the mmr which he then has to avoid my dad because it’s a live vaccine. I hate to keep them apart but

Bladder Cancer Update and More. UPDATE.
Back in January I was diagnosed with problems with my spine as below. "x rays shows OA throughout loss lumbar lordosis" I posted at the time being my spine is affected, would that affect me being able to have a spinal (Epidural) when I have a Cystoscopy? I said at the time I would consult my GP and

FLU VACCINE
I am in the UK on Venetoclax and have just spent 5 days in hospital with COVID. Is it safe to have the flu vaccine and is it hit or miss whether the vaccine is actually for the strain of flu which is going to be around this winter

Possible Problems With Bladder Cancer Treatment
My treatment now seems to be - Flexy Cystoscopy first - If anything is found then booked for admission to have tumour(s) removed. This is done with a procedure called TURBT and rigid cystoscopy. As a BTY - I am unsure if my BCG treatment has ended, or have I one more go. I am not allowed "general

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

Shingles Vaccine, MS & DMT's
Hi All, How many of you have had the Shingles Vaccine? My PCP encouraged me to get it (the newer, double dose vaccine) because he told me that I was at greater risk than the general population to get Shingles. He then went on to explain that having MS and being immune compromised/suppressed makes

Flu jab
As flu vaccine season will soon be on us I was wondering if my husband will get a flu jab this year (I have asthma, therefore I qualify). In previous years he has been eligible but I believe the criteria has changed. Any thoughts?
