Hi all - curious if any of you have had this weirdness.
I got my first Lupron injection Aug 17th (3mth 22.5mg i believe) - had the initial soreness at injection site on shoulder that is typical of even say a flu shot. That pain did go away in couple days but came back on the 10th day and still is there a bit.
Perhaps thats just how time released medicine works? I was just surprised that that familiar pain returned several days after injection.
Thanks

I had a 30 day then a 60 day shot with minor soreness then got the 90 day shot and i was crippled for a few weeks (all shot in lower back/upper glutes area) and notified my doctor and he got me on orgovyx. What a relief.
I also have had sciatica pain from a prior injury 30 years ago so i suspect the nurse injected it to fast and my prior injury just could deal with the inflammation.
I take the 6 month variety in the lower back, just above my buttocks. I have received two injections so far. I have encountered zero injection site problems. I am scheduled for my third shot early September.
my next will be leg or butt. I will have to ask my doc why the pain came back. Just to say it again, I fully expected to have some pain that is normal with ANY shot. I didnt however expect that pain to come back several days later lol
I had been getting 3-month Lupron injections in my hip. Hurt like the Dickens for a week. The last two injections were Eligard, given in the stomach. No pain following the injection! 😁
