Two Comic Kitties in Fantasy Kitties Garden and Seven Impressionist Hydrangeas.

I did not think I would get to do a painting. been on eye drops for two weeks, to get rid of eye infection so I can have eye injection.

I managed to do a painting that did not require mutch fine detail - Two almost comic type kittens in a fantasy Kittie Garden. Was a small canvas so did an easy 7 Hydranger painting to keep the kitties company.

A update on my health. I go for my first of Three BCG treatments on Thursday at hospital - Then for desert I am at eye unit on Saturday to see if treatment has worked, if so I get my injection. if not?

Thank you Carol, I am used to BCG - Be glad when Saterday has been ang gone. ABs cost me £14 Carole, first time I have been needed to pay, nurse said reason "Protocol" Well I got it the week before lol. Xxx

I don’t understand that. Protocol? Surely you don’t have to pay? Xxxx

This has been going on a while - About 6 weeks ago they said I had gunge in eye and gave me drops, did not work, gave me ointment. Last time I went I said my eye are still a bit sticky - She checked and said she was not giving me jab as it could make me end up at A&E and even be admitted, So I said wht now, do I need AB - She pondered and yes, god buy some It's "Protocol" - So we went to Pharmacy and they gave anne a tube, £1.50,should have been more she said - Ran out Anne went back, they did not believe the £1.50. Anne showed them old box, they said we had no right to them, and gave Anne another tube. Making both sales reach £14 - Looking at lablem both .05 ww - so strenghth was same. But still I don't understand PROTOCOL.. Xxx

That sounds disgraceful. Protocol be blowed ( or ruder word). It sounds like creeping privatisation.

Ern007 profile image
Ern007 in reply toAlberta56

I am going to ask just what is this protocol that made me go to pharmacy and spend their overfaleted prices. I google it and nothing,

I love the paintings, both quite different from the other. I misread the title and thought it said Cosmic Kitties ☺️ I was thinking it’s cats on a different planet. The flowers in the second painting look amazing. I hope all goes well with your treatment, also hoping that your eye gets better so you can get the injection. Sending you lots of good wishes 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

Thank you HH - I know BCG is number one but, 4 weeks ago fluid in eye and they would have injected only for infections.. I have had three lots of AB so hopefully I get it on Saturday, cosmic kitties, there's a thought. LOL. :-)

can i ask about theth use of BCG

Ern007 profile image
Ern007 in reply toJaybird19

BCG is Bacillus Calmette: –Guérin vaccine is a vaccine primarily used against tuberculosis. How it works is starting up imune system to try and fight cancer cells. it is delivered straight to the Bladder. It just started working this year as I went low gradel but have to take this and frequent checking as BC can return. Hope this helps.

I like both the paintings. The comic kitties remind me of my late Sooty, looking up all popeyed, especially when the lawn hadn't been cut for a while. She could be quite comical.

I hope your eye is getting better and the BCG goes well. xxx

Those colours are lovely, I like blue . However once upon a time when my children were young my bathroom was pink & green like your cat picture because that was the only paint I could afford from the reduced damaged tins area. Sorry to read about all your eye problems that must make it awkward when doing your art, but its a big acheivement for you. Hope your eyes improve a little soon . Bye for now take care. I used to look after cats along with my own for cats protection when my children were young. But we never had any black ones and they are supposed to be lucky .

Ern007 profile image
Ern007 in reply tokatieoxo60

Thank you Kaie - I manage with paintings like these, but will be much better for me when they get it sorted, there was no need for all this delay IMO. My next picture with have some blue and purple, - When I was young always white cats, when first marriedm always ginger, At moment we have black and black and white .

katieoxo60 profile image
katieoxo60 in reply toErn007

When I was breeding cats ginger ones were the least liked. I can still remeber one ginger one in my litter that could not get an owner, apparently snappy temperament. So kept him but a freind had him eventually as he was the best of the litter. How wrong can you be.
