Atypical meningioma
can you tell us more? I also had a large multifocal atypical meningioma with radiation. There has been re growth and cyber knife or similar may be the next step where I read there is a risk of radiation necrosis. Do you have additional symptoms from the necrosis.

Hello, I had a craniotomy in 2020 for Atypical meningioma grade 2. Went through multiple seatings of cyber-knife radioatherapy in june 2020. At present, in 2024 the cyst of the tumour cavity (radiation necrosis) is enlarged and now the size is 4.5 cm. Along with Post-surgical hemorrhagic collection and compression by an enlargement of the radiation necrosis, there is bleeding in the brain. I am going through severe headaches, pain in my eyes, ears and tinnitus. I am not able to open my left eye.
As per the neurosurgeons suggestion done Nidle Aspiration Surgery to minimize the size of the cyst and cavity which are compressing my brain and creating intracranial pressure. 45ml blood apsirated through this surgery from the operative site of the brain in September 2024. Unfortunately after 22 days in October 2024, there was a bleedding again which resulted in enlarging cyst of the tumour cavity (radiation necrosis) with the size of more than 4 cm. Again I am going through severe headache, ear and pain due to increased intracranial pressure. Neurosurgeons suggested to go for Nidle Aspiration Surgery agian.
Please suggest if anybody going through the same medical condition.
