Is anyone else on azathioprine? Also Arcoxia (etorocoxib)?
She said that if I wanted to change from that I could have
meloxicam
(also COX-2, but longer-established). I've been asking for that for ages as it works so well on animals! I just have to remember not to ask for Metacam (the veterinary name!)

They prescribed me with
Meloxicam
to aid and or alleviate the pain and function of my legs. The more time that went on, I noticed that it wasn’t just my legs that were being affected but it was my entire lower body.

What do you do when everything happens at once?
., and my ENT (otolaryngologist) thinks the pred. is making it heal slower...and then I'm on aspirin and

Irritability and fatigue
I take four salazapyrin tablets and one
meloxicam
every day, for the past ten years since my son was born by emergency caesarian. I think the physical trauma to my body was what triggered the RA.

Update on what's been going on.
I've got both OA & inflammatory arthritis & am on Plaquenil & sufasaalsine plus amytriptiline,
Meloxicam
, & solpadol. I had to stop the sulph as it was thought that it was giving me bad taste/smell problems. Stopping it didn't improve the taste, so started back on it.

Is it just me or is all this completely frustrating!?
Since then I've been started on Hydroxychloroquine, Prednisolone and
Meloxicam
(after trying various other NSAIDs e.g. Naproxyn etc). I've now been taking the Prednisolone for nearly 2 months and after it seeming like a miracle cure for a couple of weeks things have got a whole lot worse again.

Sulphsalazine - not sure I want to continue taking it!
I've been on sulphsalazine for a few months now along with Hydroxycloroquine, plus amytriptiline &
meloxicam
as well as co codamol. For the last 4-5 weeks I have had a revolting taste in my mouth along with heightened sense of smell.

Combination of drugs? What do people take?
I also take amytriptyline 35mgs,
Meloxicam
7.5mgs; paracetamol 1gm/60 mgs codeine at least 3 times a day. I still don't feel that I am on top of the arthritis but feel that with this amount of drugs I should be. I'd be interested to find out what other people take.
