Around 70% of melanoma appear as a new mole.
Due to their size it can be difficult to detect further features that could indicate the early signs of
melanoma
as they may appear relatively uniform in colour and irregularities to the border may be difficult to distinguish to the naked or untrained eye. Not all
melanoma
follow the ABCDE rule!

Has anyone with CLl dealt with Neuro Endocrine cancer (liver) as a second cancer?
Melanoma
, CLL, Prostate, Neuro Endocrine I stopped Imbrubica in July 2019. In the last 6 months my lymph nodes in my neck were very noticeable. WBC were at 58,000. I was tired but felt ok otherwise. Decided it was time for treatment. Gazyva and Venetaclex was the treatment recommended.

Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother!
When my mother died from
melanoma
on New Year’s Eve 2005, I thought my world had ended. But, over time I realised that she had left me with a very important job. I do that job, through Skcin, every day in her memory and because of her we have saved many lives and will continue to do so.

Fake it, Don’t Bake it!
Furthermore, a review by IARC found that first exposure to sunbeds before the age of 35 years increases the risk of
melanoma
by an alarming 75 per cent and if used before the age of 30 the risk is further increased. Fake it, don’t bake it - no tan is worth dying for!

One of the neuro docs says there's a connection between PD and
melanoma
. She referred me to a dermatologist. The nurse had me strip down to my undies then the derm doctor came in with a magnifying lens and checked everywhere including the bottom of my feet.

Encouraging results after two months on ADT
I had evidence of that when I survived colon cancer in 1993, and
melanoma
in 2005. I can use your prayers now also. I realize it's a long tough road, but for now I am blessed. Loving wife, family, and church friends. I thoroughly enjoy reading all of your posts.

Knocked out of marathon training (How to tell the children about BCR)
They have experienced me and my wife (breast cancer) thus far triumphing over cancer, but also my father dying from a recurrence of
melanoma
. We'll likely be able to wait until spring break to tell them, since all will be home at that time.
