meaning of low free T and high SHBG?
Before I began taking D 15-20 years ago, my blood level was below normal despite living in Hawai`i and getting lots of sun (and
melanoma
). I've seen discussion here about D, but don't know how it relates to these specific T/SHBG levels and activity.

Sunbeds is a Group 1 carcinogen!
Furthermore, a review by IARC found that first exposure to sunbeds before the age of 35 years increases the risk of
melanoma
by an alarming 75 per cent and if used before the age of 30 the risk is further increased. Fake it, don’t bake it - no tan is worth dying for.

It’s not just Skin Cancer
‼ Once
melanoma
has spread to other parts of the body it is referred to as ‘metastatic
melanoma
’ at this stage it becomes very difficult to treat and prognosis is poor, so early detection, diagnosis and treatment is vital.

COSENTYX alternative??
I have
melanoma
so cannot have anti TNF medication. I am worried the consultant will stop the Cosentyx as I don't want to lose the small improvement I have seen. So frustrating that the drugs take so long to take effect. My last steroid injection did not work either .

to NMN or not to NMN?
I've had
melanoma
three times, so this is important to me -- the AKs and BCs don't progress into melanomas, as far as I know, but AKs can progress to squamous cell cancers and BCs can get pretty invasive. So I've been taking 1000 mg daily of niacinamide for a couple of years.

Sun beds are classed as a Group 1 Carcinogen!
Even one sunbed session can more than double your risk of developing non-
melanoma
skin cancer - even more importantly is the increased risk of
melanoma
, the most serious form of skin cancer.

Cornell Scientists Have Identified a New Incredibly Common Subtype of Prostate Cancer
“Whereas there are hundreds of cell lines of
melanoma
and lung cancer, there’s only three or four prostate cancer cell lines that are useful.” To circumvent this problem, the team turned to a new technology called organoids.

Scalp melanoma
I am recently diagnosed, with surgery pending. They are hoping (& I am) to be able to do it under local anaesthetic, due to my other conditions of Rheumatoid Arthritis and COPD etc. It is to be rather a large excision, with the possibility of more to follow if necessary, and they have warned me firmly
