Unexpected diagnosis
We just received my husband's diagnosis after his lobectomy two days ago: stage 4
melanoma
. We were expecting a stage 2 lung. Isn't that crazy? Hoping for a different type of cancer? The latter seemed treatable.
Melanoma
sounds so much worse. This will take awhile to sink in.

Very fustrated
I have a new ongolagis and I feel he does not take my
melanoma
seriously. He said to me one time it's only
melanoma
. I have had 2 surgeries already and now there is a spot on my bowl. It's been there since 2016 but I was not told about it untill it started to grow. I just had a pet scan.

Have any of you experienced melanoma as well as PD? It is crazy the tie up between the 2 diseases. This article is interesting explaining it

I continue to walk into the generally known, but completely unknowable on a daily basis world of living with
melanoma
in our house. Sending deep respect out there today to the rest of the caregivers who also know this journey. Missy

I’m new here and looking some advice/shared experience! What are the chances my moles are cancerous/melanoma?
I am just anxious about how common
melanoma
is? I’ve read about it and it seems likely but I’d like to hear from someone who’s experienced it or knows about it. What will happen at my referral also? I’m such a worrier i just have to ask!

Newly diagnosed melonoma. Scared!
Was given the gut turning news on Wednesday that the mole that I had removed 3 weeks ago, that I had asked to be removed two years ago and was assured was fine, was actually a malignant nodular
melanoma
. Depth 1.3mm, low mitotic rate and non ulcerated.

I have choroidal melanoma
Hi, I'm 17 and 15 days ago I was diagnosed with
melanoma
. I wasn't told a stage, just that it was at the back of my eye and that I'd be getting plaque radiation treatment. On July 10 I go in for surgery but I'm terrified.
