Supplements and thyroid test
Am I right in thinking that I only need to stop taking my B complex vitamins for 2 days before I have a thyroid monitoring blood test? I take omega 3 oil, Multivitamins and D3 in addition. Thanks x

Itch
I was diagnosed 12 years ago and take 500mg of Ursodiol 3x a day. I experience itching. The middle of the bottom of one foot, on my back, sides of hips etc. Is this the itch from the PBC? Liver enzymes have been normal for years. I also have sweats mostly at night. I am 72.

Struggling to cope 😢
I’ve been on

that helped the bleeding but not good long term use. It started to give me constipation and Diarrhea. Just worried if the coil doesn’t help what other options have I got. Thank you anyone reading this. Also so good to know I’m not alone. 💕

Hello! Im just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience as I have as I’m worried about whether I have got endometriosis or not. Basically- I had been on the depo for 9 months (stopped now should have had my last shot three weeks ago and won’t be getting again). My last shot was done in the February

Protein intake and longevity
This Review paper available on Google Scholar is not about PCa but I found it interesting. The Abstract and a couple of sections from the paper are reproduced below. The main things I take from the study are that it is ok to have a high protein diet if you are an older person (66+) but go easy on the

Amitriptyline for Endometriosis - what’s your experience?
I’ve tried several painkillers now: codeine, mefanamic acid, tramadol, codydramol and naproxen. They’ve now prescribed me Amitriptyline and I was wondering what anyone else’s experience was with this drug or any other medication they have found useful with managing endometriosis pain?

Medicine/Supplement Regime (Mucuna etc)
I just thought I'd share my dad's current medicine regime in case it will help other people. After so many months of trial and error, we have finally found a dose that works for my dad. He takes it every 2 hours and 45 minutes with little freezing, has less dyskinesias, not much pain, a better appetite

Pain in the Neck
I have a painful throat, not a sore throat, it’s more the sort of pain I had before my diagnosis of GCA was made and Steroids started, I asked my GP if I could stop the Alendronic Acid for a week in case the pain in my throat was due to trauma. He said OK and agreed that throat sweets might be a good

When to take the low dose aspirin?
My doc never gave me specific instructions so I just take it with all my other pills in the morning after breakfast. But my wife said on her first aid course they were told we take it at night as that’s the time the body would need it more. Now I don’t recollect my doc saying anything like that, but

Both mother and aunt had total spinal collapse long over a decade of their latter years, and sister with it too. I am upright and looking ok at
