Medroxyprogesterone

hi, has anyone used medroxyprogesterone to delay their periods? can you still take the mini pill whilst taking it? thanks!

So i was prescrire medroxyprogesterone to stop bleeding and restart my period normally. It increased the bleeding for 9 mores days. It also increase the need to pee that the first pill cause to a point i was not able to do something else than pee each 30min-1hour.

I'm taking everol 50 patches and medroxyprogesterone tablets.It's the one combination I'm able to tolerate that helps stop my mid cycle bleeding and my issues with other progesterone types sending me crazy.

He said that he believed that is the reason why the Medroxyprogesterone failed to work, as it is more for milder cases of endometriosis and Dienogest is stronger, however, after reading some posts I have some reservations about it.

Tablet = Medroxyprogesterone 5mg. The enclosed leaflets, however, say ‘do not take’ if you have or have had liver disease. I’m unable to get in contact with my hepatologist. Any advice please ?

During the consultation I was given two options which was either starting a course of medroxyprogesterone to see how I’d get on as it may help or to go straight for a laparoscopy, I went for the medroxyprogesterone as I thought I’d see if it would work for me rather going straight for the invasive option

I started medroxyprogesterone injections in April 22 and then started the HRT in October 22. Since I have had the HRT, I'm in so much more pain, my rectum feels like there is something continuously there, I'm bloating terribly and my gas is so trapped I can feel it swishing about.

Hi, I have PCOS so I’m prescribed medroxyprogesterone to bring on a “cycle” if I haven’t had one after a while. I started taking the pills little over a week ago but had unprotected sex when I was on day 9 of the medication.

I also had all the anti inflammatory and the implant .I finally was seen by gynaecology who put me on medroxyprogesterone and ive been on this 2 years.

Also has anyone been prescribed medroxyprogesterone just to force their period? And if so did it help kick start your periods again?

Experiences with medroxyprogesterone (provera)?

I take Medroxyprogesterone every 3 months to ensure I have a bleed. The tablets kill me emotionally. I get really bad days before, during and after the period. Days where I could sit and cry or days where everyone needs to steer clear including myself !!

Basically in September I got put on medication to kick start my period as I was 18 and never had one (medication: Medroxyprogesterone) after 3 days of taking them I knew something wasn't right and I felt really poorly and started to get really bad chest pains, tightness, I couldn't breath and my whole

But my concern is that I haven't actually had any periods for about 15 months and the medroxyprogesterone (5-day course) they gave to restart my cycle hasn't made any difference. Has anyone else had a similar situation?

Prior to that I begun experiencing the endo pain as I had stopped the Medroxyprogesterone so we could try for a family. For the last 3 years I have struggled with lower back pain/leg pain that is pretty much as disabling as my stomach pain.

Anyone else had any experience with this and medroxyprogesterone? TIA x

I started medroxyprogesterone today and was wondering how long it took to lessen the bleeding? I have to take it for 10 days. They’re 10mg each pill. Thank you!

I was then put on Medroxyprogesterone to stop my endo from growing back. Long story short iv lost faith of things getting better. My mental health has suffered along side it all, things are low.

Though both are Medroxyprogesterone, the difference is that Depo Provera is an addition of acetate. There are physicians not familiar with that difference who prescribe Provera when the requirement is, specifically, Depo Provera.

Been put on medroxyprogesterone for 30 days.. Anyone else been on this for this amount of time and had any good results. Thank you x
