Progesterone treatment for endo

I started medroxyprogesterone a month ago 10mg / 3 times a day to treat endo which may have progressed since my lap Sep 2017 since my symptoms have been getting worse.

I started with abdo pain about 16 days ago and started bleeding 12 days ago (which hasn't stopped) and pretty much constant cramps/stabbing abdo pain since.

I keep needing time off work which really sucks. I've been to GP and they're going to try and get me seen at the treatment centre or hosptial asap.

But I dont get it, these pills were supposed to suppress my ovaries and treat any growths, so why am I having the worst flare up lasting 12 days?

Anyone else had any experience with this and medroxyprogesterone?

TIA x
