Overactive bladder treatment
Since radiation and chemo treatment I have an overactive bladder. My oncologist put me on oxybutynin about a year ago, but this had little impact and a few negative side effects for me. I go back to my oncologist on Friday, so am willing to try again. Any suggestions. I read there are a range of alternatives

Flare on Actemra
Since on Actemra I was able to slowly reduce
medrol
from 12mg to 5mg, then boom, major flare last week. I went back to 6mg 2 days ago and beginning to feel better.

Question about MRI
Hi to you all I’m very confused about my MRI results from last week. I had an MRI last September and then had a suspected relapse in December. I was pretty ill and had weakness and pain in one of my arms. My neuro, an MS specialist, gave me a 5 day course of Solumedrol (which gave me some cardiac issues

IM depo medrone
Hooray, I’ve finally had my depo medrone injection today! The Rheumatologist is 50/50 as to whether it will help as I don’t have an official diagnosis....this is almost like a test to see if it helps. But I’m trying to remain optimistic! I just wondered how long it normally takes to notice relief? My

I am just done and over every single thing right now.
I decided to try and take some steroids low dosage today (
medrol
dose pack) and only taking two pills have messed me all up today and I’ve felt absolutely terrible this entire day and my emotions and anxiety have been EVERYWHERE along with really bad pains in my legs back neck shoulders....

How strong is a Depo Medrone injection does anybody know?
In March I had my first long-lasting Depo Medrone steroid injection (standard dose 40mg per mil x 3 = 120). It worked very well and wore off after about 3 months. Rheumatologist said it was the equivalent of about 4 mg Pred per day and would last 6 months. I just had another injection two weeks ago

Balance Issues
Hello all! I have RRMS and had my last relapse in December. My symptoms have gotten much worse over the past year. I had a course of solumedrol in December and I started Ocrevus in February. After getting over the flu like symptoms from the two half doses I have returned to “baseline.” The only issue

Low cortisol levels thyroid hormone levels, especially on T3/NDT
I have self-diagnosed with estrogen dominance and leptin resistance and was on the verge of self-treating with T3 only when I stumbled upon this article and decided to go back on
Medrol
as see what happened. After two days only, taking 4 mg of
Medrol
daily, my appetite has all but normalised.

I finished it!
After my last post while going through solumedrol treatments, I promised a more positive post this time. I finally finished crocheting the blanket that would not be completed. Tracking the butterflies down took longer than crocheting the actual blanket.

Solumedrol joy
I'm experiencing all of the joys of solumedrol. I'm sitting in my living room at 2 am after my first of 3 solumedrol treatments. I always have a relapse in the spring (if it would ever stop raining here in Utah long enough for spring to arrive). Not sure why solumedrol makes the pain in my legs so intense

Ocrevus today and now insomnia?!?
I had my 3rd Ocrevus infusion today and I can't sleep tonight. The only thing I can figure is the small amount of solumedrol that they give at the beginning of the infusion is causing my insomnia. Has anyone else experienced this?

Liver pain - what disease is this?
I also tried
Medrol
(Metilprednisolon) … only 1 pill of 16 mg because I got a serious stomach pain from it. 2 days after
Medrol
, the ALP has decrease with 30% from the previous value! Now I’m on phospholipids (3x 600 mg /day) and silymarin (3x 150mg / day) and much better than in December 2018.

Adrenal fatigue - a chronic or reversible condition?
I felt much better after being put on NDT and
Medrol
. The doctor explained to me that, since I had a tendency to retain fluid, HC would make that worse, which is why I should take
Medrol
instead (4-6 mg/daily).

M-Day! 😬
I gave myself a ‘sharp scratch’ with the pointy end of the Metoject Pen this morning, overseen by a gleeful husband waiting for the blood curdling scream 😱. What an anti-climax! I didn’t feel a thing & frantically looked around to find out where the orange liquid had gone! If anyone is new to the injections

Hi 🙂
Does anyone take a Vitamin D supplement with injectable Methotrexate? I have all my Metoject pens, folic acid & all the kit. I have a blood test request for whoever will do it & an appointment with my GP on 17 May to talk to him about what the surgery can do to help (notice! very politely put 🙄). Tomorrow

SLE from 2013
My wife (age 43) was diagnosed with SLE - Nephrotic syndrome class IV. I was on and off on Wysolene (5mg to 40 mg at times) and Immutil 360 (4 times a day) However, in remission the doses have reduced. Last 2-3 months my general physician stopped all my medicines since I was in complete remission.

Recurring pericarditis
Every time I have a flare I use a
medrol
dose pack to get the pain back under control. I’ve tried prednisone, cholchisine, methotrexate, and now currently take neoral. We have tried IVC therapy and other holistic treatments as well. My wife and I are at a loss for what to try next.

Prescription cortisone for adrenal fatigue?
Can you become addicted to drugs like
Medrol
if you only take physiological doses? Can they mess your adrenals up long-term?

T3 and insulin resistance?
I guess steroids (I've been on 4 mg of
Medrol
daily for years) also messes your blood sugar levels up, causes cravings and makes you gain weight easier, partly because it makes you retain fluid (even on a low dose, my face looks puffier).
