Newly diagnosed after years of problems
Hi, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my story. I was diagnosed with FND just a few months ago after years of neurological problems. They first started in 2006 with pain, mostly in my back, then I started having bladder problems, a foot drop on the right, mild muscle

Dosage of Depo- medrol injection
Is to a 40 mg depo-
medrol
injection? I am having yet another flare and usually this injection heads it off without my having to change my usual oral dose( 11 mgs).

Would like to hear about other people's experiences with adrenal fatigue
I understand that pred and
Medrol
act the same way as HC in the body, but the latter needs to be multi dosed.

Help with hives
, I was first given a
medrol
pack that didn’t do much. Then I started taking generic Zyrtec which has really helped in that it has eliminated the hives from popping up and for quite some time was controlling the itching.

Got cortisol saliva test results back - would really appreciate feedback and advice from others!
I realise they are all out of range, but wonder how common this is in a person who 1. has been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in the past and treated with
Medrol
4 mg daily and 2. was treated with high doses of prednisolone (starting with 1000 mg IV for five days followed by 100 mg pills for a week,

Should I get a full body CT scan?
At first I thought the sweating was due to the
medrol
since it’s a steroid but I think it has been out of my system long enough that I can rule this out. I do notice it becomes worse when I am stressed, but not always.

Genova adrenal stress test
I weaned off
Medrol
for adrenal fatigue a couple of years ago and would like to know where I stand before possibly going on any kind of adrenal support. I am currently not taking anything for my adrenals.

Bruising
I have found 3 bruises ( 2 large) have appeared in the last 3 days without any recollection of any accident. I am on Hydroxychloroquine and Benepali. I did have an issue with easy bruising ( and very slow healing) which started when I had a depo medrone jab. It continued for the 6 months I was on Methotrexate

Has anyone out there developed eczema out of the blue while dealing with PMR?
My second depo-medrone injection was Wednesday. Thursday morning I woke with a very itchy back, so bad I went straight to my GP. GP looked and said I had eczema. I have never had any skin conditions in all my long life. One more unbearable burden to deal with in an unbearable situation. Quite depressed

Possible PMR Diagnoses: Phoenix,Az
My GP had started me on a
Medrol
dose pack also three months ago with no response either. Has any one else had these experiences with PMR and Prednisone?

PPMS & Living my Best Life
I’ve tried several rounds of Solu-
Medrol
, in the beginning few months, 11 rounds of Tysabri, but taken off due to being JC+, Copaxone for another year and have been on Ocrevus the balance of time. Unfortunately I cannot say that I’ve noticed a slow in my progression...but who really knows.

Seen hormone specialist, more confused than ever...!
After that, I should try to stop
Medrol
and see how I feel. If I feel worse, I should go back on it, only take 6 mg next time, take it for another three months, then stop and see how I feel...she said it can be preferable to take HC or
Medrol
or pred cyclically rather than continually.

Medrol
I saw my rheumy this week and she prescribed
medrol
(4mg strength) to replace the prednisone, the reason being that the
medrol
tablet has 2 crosses making it easier to divide in 1mg than pred (We only get 5mg pred in my country). Does anybody have experience of
medrol
?

Depo-Medrone injections
Does anyone have advice on the best way to taper down Depo-Medrone injections. Since last February I have been on 120mg starting on once a month, then every 5 weeks, this time it is 6 weeks and I am longing for it. Should I be cutting back quantity rather than time between injections. I go to my GP

Have I developed "doctor phobia" or what...?!
In the past, I never mentioned to any doctor I was on
Medrol
for adrenal fatigue because it's not a recognised diagnosis among mainstream doctors. But it does feel strange to hide things like that from your doctor, even if she is not responsible for my hormone treatment.

High blood pressure...would appreciate input!
If the results show I have low cortisol, I will have to consider whether I should go back on
Medrol
(prescribed by my hormone doctor for adrenal fatigue) or try adrenal cortex instead. Anyway, I know that low cortisol can cause salt cravings.

Neutropenia?
Hi All - I have reached the 10 week post transplant mark this week! Feeling great (body has adjusted to Prograf), but now I am dealing with neutropenia. Current Meds - Prograf: 3mg in AM, 3mg in PM - Myfortic: 180mg x 2 daily (reduced from 540x2 daily when WBCs started to drop) - Bactrim ( switched

Should I Be Off Steroids?
By June, 2018 (month 10) I had successfully tapered to 3.3mg and switched over to 4.0mg of oral
medrol
taken between 12AM and 3AM. By May, 2019 (month 33) I had tapered to a dose of 1.5mg which I continued for one month.
