Hello, PMR newcomer here.
I have also started tapering off the
Maxitram
and am currently on 250mgs daily. Some days I feel really lethargic, which is hard to get used to as I have always been very active. Anyway, enough rambling on from me. Best wishes to all, Barnabus

Chronic pain and miserable
After 10 years on cocodamol and
maxitram
the docs have given me mst and left it in my hands to control how much I need. I'm currently taking 60mg but still not getting any relief. Does anyone else take this medication and how much is a safe amount? X

When one type of medication can react with another.
I'm on
Maxitram
(Tramadol) , Cocodamol 300/500 , Gabapentine ,Amitriptyline I was orginally on Florexitine (antidepression) and one of the Gps took me off it she said it could cause a serotionan (sorry can not remember spelling) attack with taking Tramadol as well.

TRAMADOL/MAXITRAM
I could go into a load of history but I fear I'll be falling over into unconsciousness before I finish this post so I'll make this short. I have been put back on TRAMADOL from Gabapentin, which was useless. Problem is I am now into my 4th day and I am still falling into deep sleeps. I can't remember

Feeling hopeful !!!
My amitryptaline and
maxitram
have both been increased which has helped the fibro a little, sleep no better though. I also have low back pain which I've had for 45 yrs now following a lumbar whiplash and the meds don't even take the edge off.

Advice
Doctor put me on duloxitene yesterday as well as pregabelin,
maxitram
and paracetamol. Looks like will be drugged up to eyeballs. Do not sleep much due to medication side effects . Mobility is really starting to worry me. My GP does not refer you without fight.
