Ok, so after 6 months of an escalation of flares to one a week!!! Which gives me 1-2 days non flare, I asked for help. My amitryptaline and maxitram have both been increased which has helped the fibro a little, sleep no better though. I also have low back pain which I've had for 45 yrs now following a lumbar whiplash and the meds don't even take the edge off. I saw a private physio who said I should go back to the GP for referral for MRI and consultation with a spinal surgeon as he thinks I have spinal stenosis. If this is so then I am THRILLED !!!! Because if it is then I might possibly get surgery and might one day have less back pain!!!!!! I'm so relieved that there may be an end in sight for at least some of the pain - if not then at least I'm getting a lift now anticipating it lol . Merry weekend everyone!!

So pleased for you it looks as though you are at last moving forward. The bottom of the back pain is the pits isn't it as it just makes everything we try to do so difficult. Do let us know how you get on when you have hopefully had your consult and MRI, fingers crossed that you can get some answers.😀x
Hi there
