Bone scan
I had a double
mastectomy
in September 2015 luckily I did not need chemo/radiotherapy only Letrozole. I had my check up yesterday and do not need to go back for a year........FANTASTIC NEWS!! My question is when do I have a bone scan?

Hello everyone, Its been a while (apart from my shock consultant referral post) Anyway having had a 4 litre blood loss following gall bladder removal and almost dying in February I am trying to get my health back on track. While I was in hospital (9 days) I was unable to take the Tiromel/thiroid combination

One failed IVF cycle due to DH slow swimmers. We have to use his frozen sperm from a vasectomy. Dr going to change up my meds next cycle for better egg quality. Anyone have any success with sperm moving slowly??? Trying to decide if it's worth moving forward. Thanks!!!

Men help me out here.
Has anyone had any issues with getting a vasectomy? I'm on Cellcept which slow healing, I'm have ZERO Behect's issues. I'm very nervous to get this done, but I'm 30 and have 4 kids so that part is fine. I just don't want additional pain down there outside of healing time.

Hi. My husband is 7 months post op for an extended total gastrectomy after cancer was found in the cardia. I wouldn't say he sailed through everything, but he tolerated the ECX pre and post op quite well and recovered from the surgery very quickly. That is apart from one hiccough when the district nurse

Severe Belly and Leg Swelling 3 months post op laparoscopy cystectomy. Need Help! Pain!
Hi all, I have suffered with ovarian cysts and endometriosis for several years. Have had several surgeries to correct the problems. Happy to say my endometriosis is now gone, however my last cyst surgery was a nightmare and I need guidance on what to do. To make a long story short all of last year

Back to work 😔
I was diagnosed just before Christmas, had
mastectomy
3rd February and lymph nodes removed 3rd March which were all clear. I have an appointment with the oncologist Wednesday to find out what's next. Is it really normal to feel like this? I wished I could just give up and stay at home.

ongoing checkups?
I saw my oncologist a few weeks ago and when asked what kind of followups/scans etc there would be after my BC treatment finished (
mastectomy
/axillary clearance/chemo and radio) he said there would be nothing. Just the usual mammograms.

Moving up the stages
I'm 8 days post double
mastectomy
and the pathology came through positive for my lymph nodes, possibly requiring another surgery, chemo and now a Stage 2b diagnosis...

What have you learned and shared from your experience?
Hi! My name is Tina. I had bilateral mastectomies in 2009. I learned a lot from my experience. A big challenge for me was managing my JP drains, especially in the shower. One thing I do now is to make and sell drain belt kits. I also gift them to others. During recovery, A friend would come over and

lymph node removal - would love some advice
I was diagnosed with stage 3, grade 3 breast cancer following a
mastectomy
in August 2016 and had sentinel lymph node removal. Two were found to be positive. I have just finished chemotherapy and am due to have the rest of my lymph nodes removed (intermediate stage they call it) in two weeks time.
