One failed IVF cycle due to DH slow swimmers. We have to use his frozen sperm from a vasectomy. Dr going to change up my meds next cycle for better egg quality. Anyone have any success with sperm moving slowly??? Trying to decide if it's worth moving forward. Thanks!!!

Hi Trixiepie
My husband had a failed vasectomy reversal and then had to have a few operations to retrieve sperm. He finally had a successful biopsy where live sperm was retrieved but it was all damaged and not moving much at all. It was then frozen until my egg collection.
We had to have ICSI and although we had a low fertilisation rate (25 eggs, 4 became blastocysts) after a FET I'm now 6 months pregnant. Feels like a miracle, but it can and does happen so hang in there. x

Hi Trixiepie. Maybe they will put you forward for ICSI next time round, to ensure DH's sperm get into your eggs. Unfortunately, very common these days, but plenty of hope out there, so I wish you lots of luck for your next treatment cycle. Diane
