Aliens , chemo and Cymbalta ?
I'm back on Carbo/TaxoI but of course three years older and having had a
mastectomy
and Radiation in between times. This is where you my lovely fellow warriors can give me the benefit of your wise advice. I had conveniently forgotten just how vicious this regime is.

Cancer cells returned in juncture of joining, after total gastrectomy.
Had difficulty swallowing, yet again, so endoscopy requested. They took biopsies and sadly turns out cancerous cells have been found. CT scan thankfully did not find anything so PET scan was done today. Now got to wait 4-5 days for those results. I am wondering if the cancerous cells could have been

New to MBC, diagnosed early December, conflict with original oncologist. Now with one I have all the confidence in.
Went through bc and
mastectomy
in2003 and 2008. Fine till Mar of 2018. Thought all through 2018 needed hip replacement. Wrong MRI and all other show widespread cancer in bones, connect the dot type in spine, hips and skull. Luckily not in organs.

My New Keto Life......
Since I was young and triple negative with only one node positive, I had a partial radical
mastectomy
and 6 months of grueling chemo and NO radiation. A little over 2 years ago (18 years after the first time I had cancer) I started having what we thought was chronic asthma attacks.

Hospitals
So I have had a few issues health wise. I've had thyroid cancer and many a few minor health concerns. I have 2 kids with type 1 diabetes. I've seen the inside of hospitals more than I like. Thank God I live where I do or I am sure the bills would be horrendous! I grew up with a Mom who had a brain tumour

New invasive on mastectomy side.
I had a
mastectomy
12 years ago for Dcis. Unfortunately I have now fallen into the less than 2% of people who get a cancer from the less than 5% of breast tissue left behind. I found fullness and a mass in the arm pit. Anyone else have this experience?

Temporary Stop to running...
Hi All, Unfortunately due to unexpected diagnosis of stomach cancer with 2 lymph nodes affected I’m having to stop running for a while. I’m absolutely gutted, terrified and shellshocked. I only began running on 1st April last year. In less than a year I’ve run 5K, 5miles, 10K and 10mile races and joined

Peeps had his gall bladder removed, very successfully, two weeks ago today. I am having a bit of a struggle to understand what he can/cannot eat. Does anyone out there have any thoughts on a diet he can follow, short term and long term please?

Portal vein thrombosis & gall bladder removal
Back and forth to London Bridge Hospital this week and after recent MRI, CT & MRCP scans, we finally have a verdict and plan of action. Peeps’ portal vein is completely blocked by the thrombosis despite Rivaroxaban, Warfarin and Clexane injections and this in turn has caused varices in his bile ducts

Age.... what’s age?
That soon changed, I gave myself a bit of a pep talk and reminded myself that a few years ago in my late 30s I had a
mastectomy
(grade 3 malignant tumour) and I am still here having watched my boys grow into men and my grandchildren thriving so if I have got through all that I can trip the light fantastic

New Here - Hello!
I was diagnosed in 2008 with Type IIB, had double
mastectomy
, then two years later a full hysterectomy (BRCA gene). Then really was NED for 10 years. After reaching the 10 year milestone, I had a reoccurrence in my lungs and I am stage IV.

Graves, hypo symptoms, no longer functioning, please help!
When she turned 60 she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and had
mastectomy
and chemo. A doctor (former gp) advised that breast cancer and low iodine consumption where related, and stupidly we jumped on board the iodine self-administering train without enough research first!
