Bra Progress!
Last Wednesday at 17 weeks post
mastectomy
, I was able to wear my 'normal', wired pre surgery bra with prosthesis, all day! I had the bra extender on to help with the lymph fluid still below my armpit but the lymph fluid in my upper arm has reduced enough so there was no discomfort!

I had breast cancer followed by a
mastectomy
back in '96. I have a strong family history of cancer, but I feel seeing my grandmother and mother go through the diagnosis and surgeries made me stronger and helped me deal with my own process. I hope I can help someone else, now.

Surviving Metastatic Cancer.
Had 16 chemotherapy treatments, four surgeries included
mastectomy
. I was also told that I have lupus. My Journey ended one month ago with 33 radiations. I was told by the surgeon that I may have a recurrence. I need to know more about this type of cancer. Thank you. Blessings.

Mom has stage 4 mbc. looking for hope.
Double
mastectomy
, reconstruction with the expanders and implant method. We thought she was in the clear and then it came back Sept 2016. Her tumor markers rose sharply and she had pain in her right upper belly, which we now know was the cancer in liver.

Flap Reconstruction
I had (double
mastectomy
) expanders, and implants. Implants got infected and were removed. My doctors said I cannot have expanders and implants again, but only flap type surgery. What is the recuperation like for flap? What can/should I expect if I choose to do this?

Pain after total gastrectomy
Hi It's coming up on 4 weeks since I had my stomach removed, and just over a week since I was discharged from hospital. In many ways I would say I'm progressing well, especially in terms of food intake and what my new plumbing seems to be able to handle even at this early stage. My worry is that i am

Men help me out here.
Has anyone had any issues with getting a vasectomy? I'm on Cellcept which slow healing, I'm have ZERO Behect's issues. I'm very nervous to get this done, but I'm 30 and have 4 kids so that part is fine. I just don't want additional pain down there outside of healing time.
