I've got some from Marks and Spencer which were ok. Pack of 2 for £18, and I believe Asda do some nice ones but only on line. Xx

Hi there, M&S for me too, 2 for £18 called post surgery bras. I bought the next band size up e.g. Normally I'm 34g but I bought 36dd post surgery bras and wear bra extenders with them to compensate for post surgery swelling. You can buy bras and bra extenders online from Nicola Jane. There are shops too.

Suggest also looking on the breast cancer care website, there's bound to be a link.

Good luck

I also got mine from M&S. All post surgery bras are VAT free so the packs of 2 are actually £15. They also have matching pants in different styles. They have a lovely range to choose from apart from this pack . I also bought a seam free one which is very comfy and seems to allow for intermittent swelling more so than the ones in the pack of 2.

Asda do some great comfy sleep bras for £6 in black, nude and white with no fasteners. They will also hold false boobs and come with removable padded inserts. These bras were all I could tolerate at times post surgery.

There are a couple of online sites. Silima and Nicola Jane are very good. I was advised by the lymphodema nurse to get a bra with wide straps and high sides to help prevent lymphodema

I bought the slightly padded TShirt Bras from M&S, l bought them on a 20%Day & then 20% VAT off! They do them in lots of colours with matching pants. I bought some bra extenders too until the swelling went down. I'm pleased with them, they are more or less the same as I wore before. With the slight padding it gives a very matched look when I'm dressed.

You can order them online & try them on at home if you don't want the hassle of going into the fitting room.

Best Wishes

I go to Betty and Belle in Altrincham, Manchester. They are a bit pricy but Geraldine ensures you have a perfect fit.

I got mine from M&S and booked a fitting appointment saying it was post op. I had a lovely lady who picked out ones that fitted beautifully and suited me. She also advised not to get too many at once in case there was still swelling and to pop back in a few weeks to check everything was alright. After 5 years I had reconstruction and now wear the soft bras as I'm getting old and find doing a bra up difficult.

I have always bought my bras from Nicola Jane as the customer service is excellent and the bras are not too pricey either.

My breast surgeon wrote me a prescription for bras and prosthetic. Most insurances will pay. There are at least two that are local to me and you can try on and return if not right. Google for your location and check out your insurance. Shady3
