Constipation relief finally
I have taken high intake of Magnesium citrate, high dosage of B1 ... but finally
Mannitol
has given me smooth relief. For the first time, multiple consecutive days. How do you spell relief?

Mannitol work best with coffee or decaffeinated coffee?
Quick question, does
Mannitol
only work with coffee or can you drink it with a hot decaffeinated beverage?

Mannitol Test
Has anyone had a
mannitol
challenge test recently? I reacted quite severely to it and 24 hours later feel like my asthma is not stable.

Asthma and Exercise
Due to this I ended up having a
Mannitol
challenge test last year which I didn’t get very far with, ended early on with a positive result. It’s been a long road but with the help of my consultant and the right meds (too many for my liking) but my asthma is, for the most part well behaved.

Update on procedures, info and MCAS questions
Mannitol
apparently which is basically sugar alcohol used for diabetics. Regarding side effects, I was told they were rare but that I might have loose bowels later on.

Beating back my first bad symptom. Thiamin?
I'm not sure if it's just the thiamine or the combination of Ubiquinol, PQQ, snorting
mannitol
, AND thiamine. All I know is I feel 100% better. Joe in NY P.S.

The NOAC Tour
It has
mannitol
(sugar alcohol) as a filler which may be the culprit. My husband really wanted me to try Eliquis another time. So for the last six weeks, I have been taking it with lactaid and a full meal. Not good. Diarrhea at least two to three times a week and nausea.

Diagnosis of MRI scan
MRI included having to drink 5 glasses of
Mannitol
was ghastly to say the least in more ways than one! Within 3 days on 14th June went back to see Consultant for diagnoses.

Can I take a lactase supplement with my Levothyroxine medication?
Like a lot of people on here I have an intolerance to lactose and to
mannitol
so I have been wondering if it would be ok to take a lactase tablet with the meds containing lactose? Have tried the lactose free brand but don’t seem to be tolerating the
mannitol
on those.

Trelahose and Mannitol Questions.
1) Does
mannitol
have the same effects as trehalose? Can one take
mannitol
instead of trelahose? I use
mannitol
and find it makes a real difference to how I can move. 2) There is a nasal spray called Xlear which is made of trelahose and used as a decongestant.

Mannitol alternative?
I recall an alternative to
mannitol
being mentioned in a post. Can anyone advise? I left for a 2 week break, forgot my supply and can’t get it locally. Thought the alternative might be worth a try. Fingers crossed!

On 25MCG of Levothyroxine and feeling terrible!
I saw that they had
mannitol
as a innactive ingredient. I also saw that it could cause a lot of unwanted side effects. A couple weeks ago when I was bumped up to 50mcg I had a massive panic attack, chest pain, acid reflux..etc. I still have been struggling with anxiety.

Revisiting Mannitol
Is anyone aware of any new test results showing the efficacy of
mannitol
, or are we still relying on the Israeli study ?

Endo given up!
I would be happier if he would prescribe me a lactose and
mannitol
free tablet here, but he says there isn’t a licensed one available ? Is this correct do any of you know of one? He will not do the ‘ named patient form ‘.

Switch from one brand of T4 to another
However, I have compared the package insert leaflets of Euthyrox which I'm currently taking and Levaxin (L-thyroxine) by Takeda that I would like to switch to since the reformulated Euthyrox contains
mannitol
(which seems to cause a lot of problems from I've read about Teva levothyroxine).
