Pred, blood sugars, and changing up meds?
On the other hand, some of the tests were in view of symptoms of fat
malabsorption
and an odd-looking pancreas on a CT scan last year. I was so confident that those tests would come back showing something and we could FINALLY start treatment.

Told no need fo further injections Advice on B12 supplements please
In relation to the B12 I have been told that as they cannot say whether it is a
malabsorption
(because of the neg result from instrinic factor) or diet related problem they will not continue with follow up injections and suggested I take a supermarket value range vitamin.

Bile Acid Malabsorption
2.5 rather miserable and very symptomatic years after coeliac diagnosis I have just been diagnosed with the above too. The drugs have worked from day 1 and my life is really transformed :) So if you’re coeliac and still symptomatic while being really strict with your GF then it’s worth asking about.

Sleep question
I have a history of B12
malabsorption
(tested negative for PA a few years ago but was supplementing with B12 so the consultant thought I could have affected the result by doing that). Is this pounding heart and wakefulness a Hashis thing? Something to do with low vitamin/minerals? Anxiety?

Nothing is working and asking GP to check on bile acid

Magnesiumhydroxide safe?
I want to prevent further
malabsorption
of nutrients. I was already taking about 150 mg magnesium malate around noon (to help energy level) and 150 mg glycinate around 10 pm (to help sleeping) as part of my supplements. As far as I know they do not negatively influence stomach acid.

Medicheck test
I've been diagnosed with B12
malabsorption
in the past (2010) but they stopped giving me quarterly injections in 2012 when I was pregnant and refused to restart me on them once the baby arrived. No idea why. I take B12 sublingually instead, same with D3.

IBS-D vs Steatorrhea
I've been having very soft (not liquid) floating stool pretty frequently but wondering if this is normal for IBS-D or if it is truly steatorrhea
malabsorption
? Does steatorrhea always have an oily later or is it just frequent soft floating stool with weight loss

whats the best B12 treatment for subacute combined degeneration of the spine
My sister has it and others in my extended family and I have
malabsorption
problems and was on omeprazole for 4 years. ALL of a sudden I have become worse and have real neurological problems. Why don't the doctors listen to their patients. I think they have little knowledge of PA.

GPC Antibodies and Malabsorption
Hi, I was curious if there is any information on what nutrients are not easily absorb if GPC antibodies are present along with low B12. I had B12 of 88 and GPCA when started on B12 in 2016, but was told categorically by my GP at the time not to take any vitamin tablets as they would not be helpful.

Please help me advise my friend
As you can infer from these numbers, she is feeling extremely unwell, and although this must be seen in the context of complicated non-thyroidal illness including ileostomy and rapid transit, so likely
malabsorption
, we would very much welcome all input re t4/tsh, and folate/ferritin GP input is described
