Bile acid malabsorption and weight gain?
I've been treated for an overactive thyroid (graves disease) since 2016 but I always had atypical symptoms - dramatic weight gain pre diagnosis and then worse once being treated. And no - this was not due to an increased appetite. Through private blood tests I found I was deficient in B12 and Vitamin

Low fat high calorie food?
I’m coeliac with Bile salt
malabsorption
. So I need to be gluten free with extremely low fat (which controls the bile production).

My check ups are with the doctors as opposed to community midwives, and I’m due to have additional scans at 28/32/36 weeks to ensure the growth of the baby is on track (risk of foetal growth restriction due to

Best private b12 test
I’ve coeliac disease and bile acid
malabsorption
. The meds I’m on for the BAM require a yearly blood test for B12 (along with other water soluble vitamins). Mine came back 360 for B12. I thought this was fine (took GP at their word) but have read elsewhere that the GP serum test is unreliable.

I have a history of B12
malabsorption
and was having quarterly injections maybe 7 years ago, but the GP denies this is a problem now as my cells aren't enlarged. I do have hashis and psoriasis.

Dramatic Recovery In Parkinson’s Patient with Gluten Free Diet
To assess the possibility of asymptomatic
malabsorption
due to a silent celiac disease further blood screening was explored. Anti-gliadin antibodies, markedly elevated IgA, anti-transglutaminase antibodies, and positive anti-endomysial antibodies – all signs of gluten associated autoimmunity.

Severe fatigue and brain fog destroying my life!
Does this sound like possibly a B12
malabsorption
issue? I know that this is a Pernicious Anaemia group, so I'm sure people are going to say YES!, but please share your thoughts. I hate feeling like this everyday and watching my life fly by me.
