I’ve been doing well on a combination of 125 mg palbociciclib, letrazole and monthly denosumab for 12 cycles after 11 rounds of weekly paclitaxal chemo. I have a definite met in t10 and suspect mets throughout rest of spine and had 19/30 positive axillary nodes removed. No obvious sign of lung liver

First appointment at MDAnderson—what to expect?
Hi ladies, my second line chemo only helped keep cancer at bay while I was receiving infusions. Four months after sixth and final infusion, OC roared back with a vengeance. I’m driving to MDAnderson in Houston next week for first appointment. I thought I would be there a few hours, but I read that

Pleasant PSA surprise
I’m on the triple therapy. Lupron, Chemo and Zytiga. Got a pleasant surprise today as my blood numbers are all within suggested ranges, testosterone less then 1 and PSA of 0.09. Besides the meds, I’m hoping that my vegan diet and exercising are helping. Except for hot flashes, which I can manage,

letrizole/verzenio combo hair loss
my hair is beginning to thin. I’ve been on this regimen for 8 months and I’m just beginning to notice more shedding. My question is, does the hair loss slow down at some point or will I continue to lose my hair until I no longer have hair? I’m starting to panic about it. I was bald the first time with

ICON8 Trial
Hello lovely ladies, I have had the results of the ICON8 trial today. I thought I'd already heard them and let you all know but for those that don't know anything about it, it was a trial to see if giving carboplatin every three weeks and paclitaxel once a week for a total of eighteen weeks would be

Why ………..
My fit and healthy 48 year old husband sadly passed away on the 6th November 2022. It all began on the 3rd October 2022 when he coughed up some blood that morning whilst brushing his teeth. We got him an appointment that day to see our local GP who after a quick check of his chest was not overly concerned

Preliminary report on Psilocybin trip?
Today I did a guided Psilocybin trip. I followed all the pre-trip instructions and had a guide for 6 hours. A preprogrammed musical tape was played. So far I am underwhelmed with the results but who knows. I had the main "intention" of coming to grips with earlier death than I had previously planned

Bad reaction to Doxataxel
I had a bad reaction to Doxataxel that put me in the ICU. This my first experience with chemotherapy. I had a nuclear stress test 2 days before and was told by the MO and cardiologist that there would be no problems. The nuclear test results were all negative. The test was given to check for heart
