I can't sleep feel like my heart is going to stop
It's one of those nights again. I feel pressure in my chest. I thought I was going to be able to sleep today but I guess not. Its frustrating because I was already falling asleep but I was awaken by a sudden jerk. Now every time I am falling asleep I get woken up by the sudden jerk that makes me feel

Magnesium supplement - how much per day?
Until a few days ago I was taking soluble Magnellon 300 mg each day in the early evening, after food. I've been doing this since PMR diagnosis in August 2020. For the last 3 months or so I've been experiencing 'flutterings' in my legs and feet when I'm relaxing and in bed at night. Having read

Iron supplements dosage
Is 20mg of gentle iron each night enough? It worked well the first night. What a wonderful relief it was. The second night it did work within 70 mins but returned within 3 hours.. I wonder why it didn't last as long? Would a slow release be better, like ferrous sulphate 325mg? Or will it need to be

magnesium
I’ve been a RLS sufferer since 2006. I am on (4 x 1mg) and Gabapentin (7 x 300mg) daily. I fully sympathise with anyone who suffers from this debilitating condition. There have been times I’ve not wanted to be here. There is only so much you can cope with! Recently I heard that Magnesium was good for

Disrupted sleep with increased T4
Hello dear Thyroid UK, I had thyroid cancer in August 2021 with part of my thyroid and a parathyroid removed. Since then, I've been trying to get an ideal dose of Levothyroxine T4. I did take a very low dose of T3 (Cytomel) briefly. I felt great alert-wise but experienced headaches, nausea and anxiety
