Disappointing
So, i saw the neuro today. Went through my whole speech about the legs, etc. Told him the requip basically sucked, made my legs worse, caused insomnia and repetitive thoughts. So....he puts me on.. mirapex. W.T.F?? I flat out asked about methadone and he said, and i quote, "I don't prescribe methadone

Withdrawal bleed mystery
Hello lovelies, As some of you know, currently in the midst of my withdrawal bleed after my second FET, which resulted in a chemical. Was asked to stop the meds as HCG too low to be viable. Now, both this withdrawal bleed and the one after previous FET haven’t been half as bad as I feared. As a matter

Can’t sleep
I have been dealing with RLS for 15 years and have been taking Ropinirole. I had to increase the dose because it wasn’t working. I saw my doctor and he recommended taking extended release. I haven’t slept more than 2 hours a night for over a week. I’m so exhausted and depressed. I’ve even tried medical

Coming off amisulpride
Hi I have been taking amisulpride for a while now and I hate it. I feel like I’m having bad side affects. At first I couldn’t think straight but now I’m getting used to it, but it’s making me produce breast milk still and I’m not having periods. Iv also piled on a lot of weight recently like nearly 4

RLS Relief
I have restless legs too. I have read many messages on here. I feel for you. I am on a 1 mg tablet of Ropinirole & 2 - 5 mg Flexeril tablets before bedtime. I find that helps me at night. I'm on the Flexeril because I couldn't relax at night enough to to sleep. But, if I forget & eat something

Severely dry eyes and awful light sensitivity
Hi All, am new here, having just been diagnosed with SS. Just wondered if there's anyone here with dry/light sensitive eyes as their worst symptom. Mine is so bad I can no longer work outside my home. Even posting this message is a nightmare as my eyes are screaming at me to stop 😖....just wondered

Full ovaries? Aching, bloating and niggles throughout Meriofert and Cetrotide. 2nd ivf cycle. Any similar experience??
Hey everyone. Brief synopsis - 2nd ivf cycle. First was not successful in that I only had 10 eggs retrieved, only of 3 which were able to go through and not even one successfully made it to blastocyst. Only 1 was transferred with a less than 5% chance of success as it was being attacked by outside cells

Progynova- am I taking the right thing?
Hello, looking for some advice if possible. I know no one should compare IVF cycles but I seem to be on a bit of a weird cycle from what I can tell. I'm doing IVF on the NHS and am on my first cycle. They told me to wait 21 days, then take progynova for ten days and then go for a scan. They haven't told

QUALITY OF LIFESTATEMENT
Many times on this site I have mentioned the fact that I've completed what is known as 'A Quality of Life Statement'. I have been asked on several occasions to explain. Unfortunately I have misplaced the original document. And as it was 5 foolscap typed pages long, I was somewhat hesitant to replicate

Private Referral
Hi guys, So about a month ago my GP agreed with me that I needed to see a rheumatologist about the benign joint hypermobility syndrome diagnosis, to confirm whether or not for my own sanity if it was hypermobile EDS or hypermobility spectrum disorder. I don't know which resources I can send to my employer

Joint Hypermobility Confusion
Hello! So I'll start off saying that I don't have EDS (at least not that I know of), so my apologies if this seems completely irrelevant. However, I have joint hypermobility, and with that comes pain in specific joints, muscle pain/tightness, and parts of my body frequently being "out of place" (i.e

Dr Buchfuhrer is Awesome!
After suffering for years with RLS that went into augmentation I found out about Dr Buchfuhrer and set up a visit. I’ve seen multiple neurologists, and GPS who did their best to help me. No one could help. In fact it only got worse because they increased requip and then The Neupro patch to levels that

Controlling Lesion Pain
Regarding oral & genital lesions what have you found to be effective in minimizing lesions and controlling pain. I use steroids, Percocet, 2% viscous Lidocaine on the genital lesions and magic mouthwash orally. That’s 100 ml of the Lidocaine & 60-80 ml of antacid (maalox) and Diphenhydramine HCI (Benadryl

Very curious....
So, after 10 months on pred for PMR I have reduced from 24 to 12 mg. From the beginning, although greatly improved, I was never pain free, with some shoulder, hip, neck and thigh pain almost every day. Now, however, at 12mg, I feel much better, and am able to exercise at the gym and have very little
