Dr Buchfuhrer is Awesome!

After suffering for years with RLS that went into augmentation I found out about Dr Buchfuhrer and set up a visit. I’ve seen multiple neurologists, and GPS who did their best to help me. No one could help. In fact it only got worse because they increased requip and then The Neupro patch to levels that would insure augmentation. Dr Buchfuhrer took his time with me, explained three possible treatment options took my input and made a decision. I had been on 5mg methadone and 4 mg Neupro. Each time I tried to reduce the Neupro with other doctors help it was a disaster. One even took me off it cold turkey. That was probably the worst week of my life. Dr B put me on 175 micrograms of Belbuca and our plan was to reduce the Neupro slowly till it got back down to 2 mg. After one week I m already down to 3 mugs and haven’t had any problems sleeping. I’ve had very minor restless legs symptoms but nothing like the past. I must reiterate my RLS was severe. Severe enough for me to take a 3 month leave of absence from work last year ! Please if you can see Dr Buchfuhrer. He is amazing

One small correction I’m on 175 micrograms of Belbuca TWICE a day. It really works.

You are the second person I know of who is seeing Dr Buchfuhrer and are taking belbuca with great results the other person is in a Facebook RLS group. 😊

Lucky you x I was too scared to ask my doctor for methadone, in Uk I think its only used for drug addicts.

When Requip stopped being effective, I switched to Meripex without any adverse reaction.
