Recovery time after cervical polyp removal
Hi, I have a hospital appointment to remove a small cervical polyp. If you’ve had this procedure, how long after were you able to do physical activity, such as heavy lifting or walking a strong dog that pulls occasionally? Did the hospital insist that someone accompanied you home after the procedure

Pelvic MRI experience..
So I’ve gone from sepsis, to fobbed off, to emergency MRI that I had last night! Results to follow! So far have been told I need an oophorectomy and hysterectomy after the first MDT! Awaiting the second one that is going to compare this MRI with the MRI I had back in November. So I rocked up to my appointment

Anxieties about procedure for CRT D
I had a dual chamber pacemaker implanted together with AV node ablation 2 years ago after many years of horrendous AF episodes and 5 failed ablations. I had an appointment at the BHI in Bristol in January and after climbing the several flights of stairs I had an episode of struggling to breathe and

Waiting list
Looking for views on AV node ablation and pacemaker which has been suggested as I have been on waiting list for an ordinary ablation for so long that they think it may not work.

Enjoying life ..
Just a little update , since getting my pacemaker in sept 2020 and AV node ablation 4 weeks later , I am loving life right at this moment , as you can see I’m getting out there a bit more each day , I don’t care what weather is I’m out . I’m not saying it’s been all plain sailing as I have a sore shoulder

Stage 1a triple negative breast cancer
I had a lumpectomy with sentinel
lymph
node
removal
. It turned out to be stage 1a triple negative breast cancer. The tumor was very tiny and my lymph nodes were clear. I also had 20 rounds of radiation treatment. My oncologist told me I didn't need chemotherapy as my type of cancer rarely returns.

Pace and Ablate for Persistent A fib - Your Experiences?
Hi Whilst in hospital over Christmas, it was decided upon a pace and ablate for my a fib which is now persistent and has given me cardiac decompensation. However, there was a U turn and the consultants decided to try me on further drugs and give them a bit of time first. I was discharged on 10 mg bisoprolol

Gallbladder removal pros and cons
Drs are considering putting me up for gallbladder removal due to sludge and nothing being a direct cirrhosis diagnosis yet. My gallbladder has only ever detected sludge on all testing so in the last 6 months it hasn’t been up for discussion but I have constant dull or sharp upper right quadrant pain

Just finished radiotherapy but feel overwhelmed
Lymph
node
removal
showed no spread, so lumpectomy and radiotherapy, along with taking Tamoxifen (oncotype result 17, so no chemo). Haven't felt too bad physically, apart from severe cording following surgery, which is now almost cleared up and finished my radiotherapy yesterday.
