My urologist recommended EBRT and 2 years of

Just got my last Lupron shot (hopefully) ...
The
Lupron
gave me a safety blanket that will be pulled away in 4 months. It'll be nice to be off of it but it's rather scary as well.

Anyone using Dr. Scott Tagawa in NYC @ Cornell?
I was on Zytiga 2.5 years ,
Lupron
since chemo (ended 11/2017) and Xgeva since chemo. However I stopped Xgeva 4.5 months ago because of I now have MONOJ. This past 02/2021 I just had 20 rounds of radiation to the prostate.

Has anyone had success re-starting medicine after Chemo?
1) Casodex (2 months) 2) Zytiga (I think 4 months, but kept taking it to be safe since I moved back to America) 3) Xtandi (5 months but probably lasted for two since I see Doc every 3 months) One of my first thoughts is since Casodex maybe lasted a month or two, try to restart it along with the

. Recent events: Became ADT resistant, mets in lymph nodes. Stayed on
Lupron
, added Casodex- bad reaction to Casodex.

Newbie. Good day to all!
Am also on
Lupron
and Xtandi. Had chemo five years ago. No radiation, no surgery. Gleason 9, of course. PSA holding steady below 5 most of time with occasional temporary bump ups a few ticks. Medical care is VA, which I‘m satisfied with.

An Overdue Update
Bones are stable and PSA remains at 0.02 (
Lupron
only with an intact prostate). More details and how we're coping (or not) are in my latest blog post. https://tominmotion.blogspot.com/2021/06/a-bad-news-update.html

Blame it on Lupron
HELP! I know I've seen a glossary of terms, or list of abbreviations used, for this site, but now I can't find it.

DEXA Scan - how often?
His treatments:
Lupron
, Taxotere (6 rounds when first diagnosed), Zytiga and prednisone, Provenge. PSA has remained at <.1. No pain, he's still working full time. He has the usual side effects from the treatments, fatigue, weight gain, but nothing serious. He gets a CT scan once a year.

Rising PSA
He was put on Firmagon/
Lupron
and Zytiga/prednisone. PSA number dropped from 267 to 4.4. Just found out his PSA has begun rising (4.6). Anyone know what is recommended when the PSA moves in the wrong direction? Thank you for the valuable information you give.

Leg Pain while on Lupron and Zynga
I'm taking the ADT medications
Lupron
and Zynga. Over the last ten days, I have been experiencing leg pain in both legs. I take calcium, vitamin D, aspirin, turmeric, and Aleve. I try to drink a lot of water. Is there anything else recommended for leg pain while under ADT?

Positive Guardant 360 Test-What does it mean
I did SBRT
Lupron
/Zytega and 4 rounds of Taxotere. After 21 months of of the
Lupron
/Zytega and .01 PSA, I went on an 18 month “vacation” from
Lupron
/Zytega. With my PSA rising again, my most recent PSMA scan revealed a “probable met” at L-5.

Falling ALP
Only treatment is
Lupron
since 11/2018 (started Xgeva 2/2020). Yesterday my PSA was 0.5, a new low. But my ALP, after rising during the first year of
Lupron
from 50s to 82, has dropped over the last year to 31 yesterday (up from a low of 26 last blood test in November 2020).
