I was thinking unless I am mistaken, people have said after Chemo, certain medicines work much better since
I mentioned in a previous post, Xtandi stopped working after probably two months and since it shot up so high (about 1.9 points a day after doing the math) Doc wants me to start Chemo. He just needs to get a biopsy on my hip since I thought it was sciatica.
My last 3 medicines that have failed are
1) Casodex (2 months)
2) Zytiga (I think 4 months, but kept taking it to be safe since I moved back to America)
3) Xtandi (5 months but probably lasted for two since I see Doc every 3 months)
One of my first thoughts is since Casodex maybe lasted a month or two, try to restart it along with the Lupron shots as well.

Whatever you do, don't go back to Casodex. The cancer learns how to feed on it, using it as a way to reactivate the androgen receptor. You never stopped taking the Lupron shots, I hope.
I've failed Zytiga and then Keytruda & Xtanti while continuing Lupron. You suggest that Casodex not reccomended because cancer learns to feed on it. Any other alternatives to Caodex? I used Casodex about 6 years ago.
Sometimes you can rechallenge Xtandi after a course of Jevtana, this has been effective in some guys as a way to get more mileage out Xtandi after they have become resistant to it. It is one of the possible scenarios that Dr. Sartor discussed with me for when that time comes.
Your covid claims are totally baseless and wrong, Plus, more people will die in the long run, by the draconion shutdown techniques used by many countries. The countries that are generally in good health, with low obesity rates, low diabetes, low heart disease rates all did very well against covid, because their bodies were not already diseased, and thus, they were able to fight off covid without much effort. Most of farica and Asia and Scandnavia eat mostly healthy foods from nature. They did very well during covid. Countries like Sweden did very well. Plus, tens of millions will die from the unhealthy actions they took during lockdowns. They disease train will continue to manifest itself for decades to come. Removing covid deaths from the equation, and the average mortality rates in America were significantly higher from other causes of disease, and that doesn't even factor in the damage from experimental mrna vaccines. The numbers, JUST IN the USA- 300,000 killed by the cv-19 vaccines; 2+ million handicapped, 13 million severely damaged. America faired so poorly because we have the most unhealthy diet in the entire world. It's mostly processed sugar and refined oil-based foods, and even the meats and plants are loaded with pesticides, antibiotics and stressful, toxic created animal products, which make people very vunlerable to any kind of respiratory disease. Locking people down, and keeping them away from nature and social activity makes their immune system even weaker. Plus, America did not embrace or disseminate alternative types of vitamins and nayural treatments, which were proven to significantly reduce death from covid. These alternative treatments lowered inflamation and kept the lungs from honeycombing, which made it impossible for people to breath. Almost everyone who was told to lay in bed, get on a ventilator, or take remdesivir after being in the hospital, had very high death rates. Those people who took preventative measures in accordance with the FLCCC protocol, had very low death rates.
You lost me at the first sentence: "Your covid claims are totally baseless and wrong, "
Then followed by Q*non/m*ga talk: "draconion ", "They disease train", "JUST IN the USA- 300,000 killed by the cv-19 vaccines; 2+ million handicapped, 13 million severely damaged", " Plus, America did not embrace or disseminate alternative types of vitamins and nayural treatments, which were proven to significantly reduce death from covid. "
LOL source please. Faux News maybe? Yeah, dump the masks and self-medicate with info war vitamins. Why not. LOL
But yeah sure, this is a complicated subject. It doesn't help when it gets politicized.
It is the politicization that kills people.
Because it fogs up with windshield for the scientists that should be driving health policy.
Look no further than pols in Florida telling the Docs how they can and can't handle a pandemic.
Even this small attempt to politicize what should be an objective discussion will kill people when we next run into the next haemorrhagic fever (and it is coming) that spreads quickly... not like Covid but perhaps like the common cold.
Will this small rant cause millions of deaths. Nah. Will it contribute to a few of many millions. Maybe not even that. Will the next 10-20 years of your personal rantings over the remainder of your probable life expectancy on this subject kill a few. I suspect so.
Thanks a lot for your past and future expected contributions to the QOL of others, some yet to even be born.
"Those people who took preventative measures in accordance with the FLCCC protocol, had very low death rates." I followed FLCCC protocol myself until I determined there was no credible supporting evidence. I even talked with the Doc that formulated him. I begged him to do some respectable research to prove it to the doubters. He said he was doing it in Canada. He never did. He never did! That was all he had to do.
So if you catch yourself spouting simple answers to complex problems... maybe you should stop and reconsider whether or not you fully understand the problem.
Matt- others should be able to answer your question better than me. All I wanted to say is that I have been on Lupron for 8+ years with Zytiga for amajority of those 8 years. I am curious whether you doc thinks Lupron may be worth trying?Best
No answers from me. I hope chemo works well. I had 8 cycles (to begin with) and that and lupron started me on a downward path. Hip biopsy doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Other meds out there, best of wishes.
Downward path was a poor choice of words. Thanks for your concern. Chemo, Lupron and Xtandi have kept me on a stable path for 6 years now. ("extensive, innumerable bone metastasis"). Don't know why it hasn't spread already (liver, lungs, etc.) PSA test next week. I've been 0.2 for a long time. Maybe because I'm always waiting for j-o-h-n's next lame joke. I should send him some crutches.
All these answers are great and still helpful because I like seeing people do good.
It also makes me laugh thinking about how so many goofs say, "Hey man, all you need to do is drink your pee, give yourself a coffee enema, eat a non-existent vitamin that digests as cyanide, and juice fruits and veggies while getting rid of all the useful pulp that has all of the nutrients in it, and you'll cure yourself of cancer... it's just that easy."

Most of the people who push this nonsense either have stable disease in long-term remission (IE. local prostate cancer treatment with no reccurance) or they don't have cancer at all. They use their good luck as a soap box from which to preach at those of us with aggressive, advanced disease who will die quickly without proven treatments.
Another thing we see is people advocating for all these unproven alternatives while also using conventional treatments (that of course are doing nothing but creating awful side effects). Many times the treatments that are actually working are conveniently not even mentioned. I've seen plenty of this kind of thing on the forum.
