Had pulse field ablation April 15.
I had the ablation for paroxysmal Afib April 15 ,It wasn't a difficult experience considering I am a high-risk anesthesia patient due to scoliotic restrictive
lung
disease
and asthma. It only took about 1,1/2 hrs. (I have all the records on my patient portal.)

Clinical trials?
At the oncology appointment yesterday my husband was given what I believe is an amazing opportunity, he has the option of starting standard care ( immunotherapy pembrolizumab ) or participating in clinical trials where they will be also adding a second drug for a two pronged approach. Whilst I know

sleeping
I have just learned how important sleep is for
lung
disease
. For 2 nights in a row I did not sleep well. On the 3rd night my breathing was so bad and had been all day. I actually fell asleep sitting up and didn’t wake until 5 in the morning and I’d left the light on.

Radiotherapy for lung cancer
After an oncologist appointment I was left deflated. I did know the risk of extra damage to the lung and possibly needing oxygen. She was talking like she didn't want me to try. At the moment they said I have 18 months to 2 years left and the Radiotherapy would give me an extra year . All of this is
