Window defect and MD
Hi All, I have early stage MD, which currently is being treated by avastin (since
lucentis
is not used here in Malta) and along with MD I have a window defect (that is what I was told). Does anyone know what can be done to reduce the effect of the said window defect? Thanks.

Injections in Spain.
I have wet AMD and have injections every 6 weeks (
lucentis
). I have also a severe from of arthritis in the neck. It is much improved,it is said, by living in the dry heat of Spain. We want to try living there for 4 months to find out if it works. Problem:- will I get my eye injecyion paid for?

Painful rise in eye pressure after Lucentis jab
My mother has been having the
Lucentis
treatment for nearly two years and we are so grateful that it has saved her sight. However, there are several posts here that I can sympathise with entirely.

Myopic CNV
Hi, I have received 3
lucentis
injections and treatment successful so far. I keen to hear from others with myopic cnv, how long they have been receiving treatment and how successful to date. Guess I'm looking for hope that I may be able to work till retirement age (I'm 48).

What risk is involved in repeated injection?
Does
Lucentis
reach a point of diminishing returns after a certain number of injections? I was given monthly injections (first in the left eye in which I've lost central vision, for a while in both eyes, and now just in the right eye) since Sept. of 2013.

Please help me - 27 diagnosed with Myopic degeneration - one fuch spot in each eye - please put me in touch with people with this
Yesterday I went in as my left eye (the one that hasn't been injected with
lucentis
) is showing distortion. I know my eyes will fail I just need some support from people who have scarring or a fuchs spot. I'd like to be prepared.

Yesterday I had my 3rd

Hi all, Thanks for your replies. I am happy to report that I will be able to have my 2nd Lucentis injection on time after all.
Whilst there was never any chance of my choosing holidays over my eye health, the point I was trying to get at I suppose is the major disruption to plans for the sake of a 'few days'. After reading some posts I appreciate that urgency of treatment must be paramount. However in my case my eye has not

Diagnosed a few years ago with dryAMD in both eyes. Year ago wetAMD started in one eye & am receiving treatment which so far has stopped it
Told at Clinic today that i did not need a
Lucentis
injection this month & to see what it is like next month. The words were 'you are dry today'. Does this mean that i still have the dryAMD as well as the wetAMD? Hope someone can clarify this point please?

I have wet AMD in my right eye (dry in left). I am about to start Lucentis jabs. Is it ok to go a few days over the date for 2nd injection?
My 1st injection is on the 8th of this month. I am due to fly out on holiday on the 9th, returning on the 10th April. The hospital say it it MUST be 1 month Or it may not work? I have offered to delay my flight out but they want me to return early, which is impractical for me. It would mean cancelling
