There are many of us who have Eyelea injections including myself and since I haven't had any other drug I cannot compare, but I believe what you read is correct in that after the first loading of three monthly consecutive injections the treatment thereafter is every other month. Although my eyes are now dry, thanks to Eyelea, it is believed through research that continuing the treatment leads to longer lasting results, so my consultant at a leading eye clinic in the country tells me. My eyesight is better now than before I had the wet macular condition! I will never cease to be grateful for eyelea.

Wow that's so amazing ! I had my first Eyelea injection yesterday and had a bad reaction. Eye is very sore and gritty and bloodshot ! Vision seems a bit worse although the consultant said after course of injections I would be better and wet would turn to dry. Are your injections on national health? Where are you being treated? X

as an alternative to Lucentis.......Eve...

Hello. I have had 11 Lucentis injections the last year (once a month) for the treatment of BRVO (central vein occlusion amvivlistroeidous).

The blurred vision returns after a month and my doctor says that if leave the eye without injections will go blind completely.

I decided to change from Lucentis to Eylea maybe the vein stops leak
