is it safe to fly after an eye injection? My next eyelea injection for cnv is due on 25 March and I want to fly to Spain on 28th. This is my 6th injection. Have already had 3 avastin 2 lucentis and 1 eyelea and have no after effect problems.

Hi Bardrick,

The professional advice we have been given about flying is that you shouldn't fly within 5 days of an injection. This is the time period when any complications may occur. It is therefore important to be able to get back to your eye clinic if something does go wrong.

I suggest that you have a word with your hospital eye clinic for their opinion.

Best wishes
