Yesterday I had my 3rd Lucentis Injection for Macular Edema,

as the needle entered the eye,it touched a nerve & I moved

with the pain.

the sudden movement caused the needle to scratch my Cornea.

my Eye Doctor said it was not serious, but would be painful for the next few days.,& to take pain relief(Paracetamol)

This morning the pain as eased off. but I have a bloody eye,.

I can relate. Over a period of 2 years I have had 18 injections. What you describe happened to me twice. I was so miserable as I could not move the eye and simply tried to sleep.. At least your doctor explained what happened. I could never get mine to explain anything. I am very upset by the treatment I got.
