Success stories with a day 5 2BB embryo or day 6 embryos please?
Hello All I’m 10dp5dt and very sadly got a BFN this morning. It was a FET 2BB embryo. Since our gorgeous son was born via IVF in 2019, we seem to have had really bad luck with the frosties that we had left (1 MC at 9 weeks, 1 BFN as the clinic transferred the embryo too late, 1 totally heartbreaking

update - diet & tapering
Will stay on this diet for full 3 weeks and then go on a more balanced
diet
of
low
carb and low
fat
. I have many stones to shed and I already feel much better in myself. I aim to lose a further 4 stone 🤞. This forum is a huge help and I thank you all.

1 x failed fresh, 1 x failed FET. 1 x left - what to do?
Hi all Myself and husband just had our 2nd transfer (1st FET) which has failed 💔💔 we are gutted as we went in postive as such (lining was good, on progesterone injections aswell as cyclogest pessaries). I am 32 with PCOS but fit and well - only symptom with PCOS is lack of cycles. We had

Is mild IVF better?
Started IVF 1 year ago at age 37, diagnosed with both unexplained and DOR. We’ve been unable to conceive since we started trying at 32, fobbed off by every doctor in the US and UK for years because “you’re so young, just keep trying.” I’ve been embryo batching at CRGH since summer 2022, having done 6

6th FET - First one trying a modified medicated cycle
Hello Ladies! 👋 I had my 6th(and last) ET yesterday. All of the others were transferred on a natural cycle and this one is a modified medicated cycle. For all of the other ETs there was implantation failure. Im really hoping this change in protocol will help 🤞🤞Does anyone have a similar situation

Alcohol a month before FET
Hey all I wanted to know peoples opinions on this. I have not had any alcohol from January until June this year. I did two egg retrievals and we have 10 frozen embryos. We didn’t manage to do a fresh transfer due to unexpected complications with my egg retrieval. Anyway I am fine now and my clinic

Quality of blastocyst
Hi everyone, I’m fairly new on this network. I’m 43 but nearly 44 soon & had 2 rounds of IVF (to see how many eggs I can get) before the embryo transfer which was couple days ago. Found 5 eggs, 1 dropped so out of 4 eggs, only 2 fertilised but only 1 reached 5 day blastocyst. I was told the grading

Double or single embryo transfer
Hi all, hope everyone is doing well, or as well as they can be. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with having a double embryo transfer of different quality embryos, I’m unsure of the technical grading but one scored an 8/10 and the other scored 1/10. Would this be advised not to be transferred

5dp5dt - FET
hi all, I had my first FET last Thursday and am trying my absolute best to relax during this time and keep busy. I tested this morning but think I either got an indent line or I had line eyes. I’m just looking for some reassurance that 5dp5dt is still far too early to get a BFP please. I had an ectopic

embryo transfer pain?
Hey ladies, I’m looking for some honest input in whether you found embryo transfer painful. Hopefully, I’ll be having a frozen embryo transfer if an egg fertilises and makes it to that stage! I am asking because I’ve seen online sources that say it’s like a smear test. However, I think my pain

Tested positive on Day 10 then the same day I started bleeding.
This was my first embryo transfer and I had a few symptoms such as cramping, back ache, sore boobs but they eventually went away the closer I got to day 10 test day which I thought was strange but I tried to not overthink it all. Day 10 arrives I test in the morning it says it’s positive, then late

FET timeline
Hi everyone, I had my first egg recovery on the 12th of June and it was decided we would freeze embryos and go for a frozen transfer due to high risk of OHSS. I haven’t heard anything from the clinic since and I just wondered if this was normal and what the timeline usually is for FET after egg recovery

Two interesting articles
Here are links to two interesting articles. The first one details the benefits of exercise in preventing AF (it’s not clear if this applies to those who already have AF). The second-an older one which has been posted before but can probably stand repetition-details the negative effects of even small

symptoms in 1st 2 months after IVF
hello, I wanted to ask someone if If they had positive HCG after IVF, what symptoms can they expect in 1st 2 months? I am really worried. I am not feeling much at 20 days post FET and my thyroid is spiked to increased medication dose.
